I see plot wise why it is useful to spice up the rivalry Eito/Neo but really it doesn't work with a story over a decade... Eito proposed Sarasa in 2012 a bit before he saved Sarasa and ended in hospital, Neo reborn as Eito begin to develop feelings after a while, Sarasa already loves him, everyone considers them a couple and push them regularly to marry, they are not separated physically or by exterior forces but after a decade still nothing...

After 7 episodes, story remains interesting, as with time travel stories it's always fun to see how they will succeed or fail to do a credible ending. However, I think the romance with Sarasa is terrible.

It is Noble idiocy trope. ML wants FL to have a happier life returning to her work at HIT. So he thinks he needs to get all the blame for the USU cream incident without explaining that he was probably wronged and also break their relationship to force her to return to her old life asap... Yes it is a stupid trope and never interesting
