Great cast
I think what made this show good was firstly Namtan, the villian who carried the show. She pulled off this role brilliantly. Joss was also excellent. The toxic relationship between the 2 step siblings was so interesting to watch. I wasn’t so fond of the relationship between Tay’s character and his so called ‘best friend’. I couldn’t stand the way she used him again and again and lied to him for her own benefit, then acted like the pathetic victim and that everything she did was somehow justified because she was poor and was bullied by the rich. It was just irritating to watch. It was also irritating because Tay’s character was just so stupidly in blind love with her to the point he allowed her to use him. Frustration to the max! Otherwise it’s an interesting plot that will make you want to watch to the end.Was this review helpful to you?
Interesting story, great actors
I actually really liked this series. Initially when I started watching it, I doubted the chemistry between Singto and Tae. However as the show progressed, the characters and the storyline got more and more interesting. Both lead actors are talented and I liked the storyline of 2 totally different people from totally different worlds learning to love each other and learning to put aside their needs for each other’s happiness. It’s a cute story and I liked that it included some comedy. Singto is a seriously versatile actor.Was this review helpful to you?
Cute story, great actors
Enjoyed this show so much that I watched it a few times. I loved the actors in the show and that the plot contains a twist. I love the friendship that the characters have. And I also love that the show is more about other relationships (friendships, family) than romantic relationships. This series has comedy, love and mystery all in one. And I also loved all the desserts that featured in the show. It’s a lovely series where the chemistry of the actors is at its best. Weak plot
I really wanted to like this series because of the actors but unfortunately the plot was too weak and a let down. The actors were good but could not save this show. The plot of 18 episodes - literally is the same from the first episode to the last episode. You can probably skip the whole middle part and go straight to the end and you wouldn’t have missed anything. The multiple scenes of Irin suddenly falling into Namcha’s arms is just cringy to watch. Inn is an annoying brat who is not good enough to be a villian. It also doesnnt make sense how the lawyer gets so involved in family affairs when he’s just a lawyer. The plot is really bad and I’m just sad that Win got cast in this show - he can really do better. I could not see the point of this show at all. It’s one of GMMTV’s weakest offerings I’ve seen so far.Was this review helpful to you?
One of the best from GMMTV
This show is honestly one of the best offerings I’ve seen from GMMTV. The cast was perfect and everyone acted brilliantly - especially Jenny. We usually see her as a comedian but she did a total 180 degree turn here and did so well. I loved the action, the exciting plot which kept me on my toes and the friendship between the 3 main cast. This show pushes the boundaries with sex and gender awareness and is such a breath of fresh air. Once you watch the first episode you want to keep watching all the way to the end.Was this review helpful to you?
Possibly my favourite BL
OMG this show had me laughing and also had me crying buckets. Seriously the sobbing level was great. Yet I watched it a few times over. The actors were so good in this show - from Singto and Ohm to Ohm’s mother to Ohm’a friends…Such a cute story between the human and the ghost. Loved the plot twists too which also included solving the mystery. Singto and Ohm were brilliant and had great chemistry - both are such natural actors. Plot progression was good too. A cute, feel good story that you’d want to watch over and over again.Was this review helpful to you?
