This seems more like a music video than a short film

Short films are usually say 45 minutes. This one was 16 minutes.
The costumes were cool, the music was good, lighting and scenery was good and the story idea was cool. But there was zero speaking. Not a single word. No full flow from scene to scene rather a collection of well done clips.
It felt like teaser for a movie coming out so just.....don't expect too much.
What little there was....was excellent.
It made me realise how talented Kris Wu is.
It is too bad he is a monster or I would have liked to see an actual film made of this.
Now I realise why there was no review lol. There is so little to talk about it is hard to write 500 characters about it.
So, just my opinion but don't feel like you missed anything if you cannot find it anywhere to watch.
My rewatch value is zero but it won't allow me to put less than a one.

Light, fun great romantic comedy just don't bother with the extra ending

Actually three stories in one and two out of the three are light, funny and sweet romance.
Each episode is a palace romance and at the end of each is a second, very cute very short story of our leads in modern day.
Both of these were fantastic and have you wanting more.
I get very bored very easily so frankly tend to rate based on how well it can hold my interest and if it can hold my interest all the way through...it's good.
Now if it can hold my interest all the way through AND have enjoying it on a rewatch...it is great. (I never rewatch)
I rated based on how great it was until the terrible ending.
That was a ridiculous add on very poorly written and executed as it was very confusing and disjointed.
So here is my advice on how to watch this. Enjoy the first part and when ittwists into a weird fantasy drama consider it to have ended happily and move on.
Unless of course you like a third show of a completely different genre that goes from comedy to drama abruptly added on.
Or if you are like me and cannot stand not seeing the ending....then go ahead and watch it all.
The added plot/story stuffed in at the end really ruins it though. Wish they had just ended it without that.
I swear to you it is worth watching as I enjoyed it so much.
I plan to rewatch just leaving out the stupid fantasy melodrama tacked onto the end of the comedy drama.

If you want only the exagerated/toxic drama parts only then this is for you

First off, this is another of those 2 mins per episode which I LOVE. Why do you ask?
Because I hate the extra childish Drama added to fill and get the emotions of the viewers. Oh it gets our emotions all right, frustration and anger at how annoyingly ridiculous and it's interrupting a once good show. But the minie episodes have no need to add extra and barely manage the entire plot (cue delighted villain laughter).

Well this show is the opposite. This show is for the people who LOVE the extremely extra and unbelievable bits and wish they could get all that without the plot or growth or dialog...
Thisis for the Just give me the Drama parts of the drama people. If that is you binge on this you will have the time.
It squeezed almost all cheesy tropes in.

But....the acting is....well the best job was probably done by the 5 year old. The main characters were definitely better than the background and supporting characters. Oh. Ma. Gawd they were pa8nfully wooden.
Everyone but the main leads and second leads were like, mm, if I forced my family to play parts so I could finish my film project for school.
And why was the fl hair always so messy? There is artfully messy and then there is....that.

I hope this was helpful and shout-out to all my quick minute where I can watchers.

Beautiful cinematography, lighting, costumes and overall quality.

I was surprised at how high the quality of this film was as the poster suggested it would one of many low budget low level demons and swords.
It is definitely not low budget, the camera angles, high definition, beautiful and perfect lighting as well as costumes, well choreographed fight scenes all point to a high quality production.
The colour choices were also lovely.

The acting looked good but the one thing I cannot discern is whether the story is good as I could not find subtitles for this so cannot comment on the story.

Visually though it is a treat.
