Everyone is complaining about the sitar bg music. I also think it feels out of place. I love Indian music, but…
is that the song at the beginning of ep 7 during the jealousy scene? If so, I actually loved it and it fit so well for that scene's emotions. As a desi person, I approve lmao
Not rare at all. Cutie Pie and TNP have won all sorts of awards, and Cutie Pie is one of the most watched bl's…
Yes, that's what comment sections are for, opinions. I was clarifying my statement earlier about why I said its a rare win, not trying to convince anyone. You are entitled to your opinion, and I'm entitled to mine.

I never judge a show on it's rating. I judge it based on my 10 years experience of watching Thai BLs. I've watched every single DMD show and I know that DMD has made many successful shows, there's no doubt about that. The actors and production quality is top tier since Cutie Pie, don't get me wrong.
However, aside from Khemjira, I always felt like the plots for DMD always fell short and couldn't keep my attention. There was always something that either made me bored or annoyed about plot or characters.
So in that sense, it was rare for a DMD show to do a rom/com so well, where it kept our interest all the way through and nothing felt cringe even though it easily could've. In fact, I'd say Duang With You was a win for Thai rom/com BLs in general. It was very well done and I was not expecting it from DMD. I hope to see them continue in this path of choosing good writing for their shows.
A rare win for DMD! This show could've gone sooo wrong because there is so many moments that can be cringe if it wasn't done well, but somehow, it wasn't. It was cute, endearing, and made me want more. How is that even possible?? Idk but Duang With You did it.
The only part that was good was Pai standing up for himself and calling out his family and grandpa. As the eldest child, I know exactly how Pai felt. Always being the most responsible, never causing trouble, yet still treated the worst. I cried with him and I felt his pain. Mark is an amazing actor.
That being said, he deserves better writing bc as everyone else said, everything going back and everyone forgiven so easily felt like a cop out. Pai should've started his own business despite getting his apology. Pai should've gotten his revenge on Tim before ever thinking of getting back.
If this was a One31 drama, we would've gotten the angst and revenge we all wanted. Instead GMM gave us a disneyfied boring crap. SMH
There's a more heartbreaking scene in ep 9 which satisfies more. But, in the book Pai didn't throw any chairs…
your comments makes me want to continue bc I wanna see Tim get what he deserves but at the same time, idk if it'll be enough for me. But I might just do it if I'm super curious. For now, I had to put the show on hold bc ep 7 pissed me off
Just finished ep 7 and wtf? That was sooo anti-climactic? Why tf does Tim not have any guilt or remorse? Why didn't Pai show him hell?? Why does it seem like they overlooked the whole thing like it was some oofy doofy?
Hello??? Where's my angst, anger, hurt, betrayal arc for Pai? That should've lasted longer than 5 mins cuz what?
I get it, they wanna keep this light hearted but the way my heart broke for Pai at the wedding, I expected so much more. We could've had at least 1-2 episodes before Pai even considered seeing Tim's face again... i can't

I dont think I'll ever get over it! 10/10
This is soooo fucking good, I'm obsessed with everything about it (minus ending of ep 15 but they gotta follow the novel ig so I'll allow it)
I hope we get the spicy scenes that blue-balled us on ep 14 and 15 lol the angst better only last 15 mins or less!
