I can relate to Dong Man so much. Just like when his heart beats faster when he hears the word “unemployed”, mine also beats faster when someone asks me “what are doing these days?” Dong Man talks continuously to hide his worthlessness, whereas I isolate myself from others to avoid talking and hide my worthlessness. Just like how he says “food is the only thing he loves in the world”, this is also sooo me. Time is ticking and I’m still in the same place as the last year, just watching series, eating and sleeping. All my friends are doing smth in their life, meanwhile I am still stuck on the same thing that’s not working. However, I know for a fact that better days are coming. If not this year, then surely next year. This series just felt too relatable. Writer Park Hae Young never fails to deliver indeed! ❤️
