On The Lament of Autumn 12 hours ago
A very new big fan of Cheng Lei. So, I'm watching all his dramas and I realize he was born to either hold the sw0rd or the gvn. He just had to be in one military unit. Even in the new modern drama currently being filmed.

The clip I saw feels like Overdo micro drama presentation. Even the poster above has same color and lighting.
All republican dramas look the same in term of style, have you seen Footprints of Change starring Cheng Lei too which is a republican drama. But, this plot especially seems to be far different from Overdo.

Juat finished watching Footprints of Change a republican drama with Chen Lei and it is one of the best cdramas I have ever watched. So impactful! Had real essence! Now, I am so sure Lament of Autumn is gonna be so good. Cheng Lei YOU! You are one good actor, too good and your eyes be doing all the talking and expression. Continue to choose good scripts and giving your best as always. Rooting for you.

I came here because of the first ML as he was so good in the recent two period dramas. The first section when…
Hmm...I feel you, but drama should be a reality of life, right? Infact, we are lucky it is pictured as a drama, real life is even worse, moreso, even worse if you are close to the victims in question. I watched it, and yes, I had to brace myself up every second, but I had to endure since it makes me know more about life.

Unpopular opinion but this is by far Cheng Lei's best role😭 Wow I have no words.
To be honest, all his dramas are so good! But you see this one? I must say with the little cdramas I have watched even of others actors, this has to be top 3 of all cdramas (if anyone knows a cdrama this impactful too, let me know), so profound and impactful. An actual plot and story to tell, very intentioanly told, not just feeding us 'just love' but an 'essence' within. So, saying this is Cheng Lei's best is not even a bad thing, becuase others are best, but this is a best of the best! And I wished it was longer, the ending was abrupt, but that is how life is when a story of one is being told...we can never see it through to the end with the people in question

I'll consider this a mini drama for Cheng Lei and Jelly Lin since I honestly ended up here for CL listed as ML.…
Yeah, I could not watch the other arc, because honestly, I clicked for Cheng Lei as I am new to cdrama and Cheng lei is the reason I am looking all over for cdrama right now. When the narrator, Yi ended her narration, she did say her aunt and uncle-in-law's relationship exceeded their expectation, I had to search what it means and I realized they built and grew the family's legacy with their business starting abroad showing that their love continued on solid blowing people's mind. I would also wish we were shown through all the stages too to see how they grew deeper and not just that line!

A very profound drama. A gem all through! Phew! It's been a while I have watched somehting this imapctful. Is it possible to have Dr. Lin and Cheng Ao's story continued? To show how well their relationship continued even after they travelled abroad, bond grew stronger, and laid the foundation of the family reputably. When Yi gave the last statement on her aunt and uncle-in-law after their story arc, she mentioned their relationship exceeded her expectation, I would like a drama that would show us through their growth, how they continued to impact each other, love each other, got married, completed each other. found fulfilment in each other. Oh my! I was blown with the plot, a cdrama with an actual plot. It's been a while. On this note, I can't wait for Lament of Autumn. Yes, the actress playing Dr. Lin is so good, but you see Cheng Lei, his expressive eyes is sooo out of this world, HE CAN SO ACT. I dare say no chinese actor comes close at this point. I wish him well and more success.

That's not true. There is nothing rude and no generalizations nor stereotypes in this drama. This drama never…
Then introducing Africa with pack of animals will make people know that they're talking of Africa? That's stereotype, and you know that. Why they say Africa? And not specify, any one with less knowledge of Africa will think that's how Africa is and continue to have this prejudice against Africa.

after seeing such a comment section i literally want to say one thing " Dramas are purely Fictitious ".it's not…
The fact is that their fiction will cause prejudice against Africans. It's affecting something, inciting racism, so please know more about what you think fiction is.

I'll write again. A whole Afican continent of 54 countries was sl@pped in the face and you expect that no pr0test or you believe that we have no right to be against it, because what we talk against, the same thing they decided to show on the TV thereby causing prejudice. Make it make sense, you can't sl@p 54 countries and expect a pat, hug, Well-done, thumbs up. So please do well next.

Now y'all be the judge of this.
You can't slap 54 countries at once and expect that no one will flare and protest. As y'all saw it, they kept emphasizing Africa and portrayed us in the ways we've always corrected that it's not. So I repeat again, you can't slap all whole 54 countries and expect a pat, Well-done or that it be ignored just because it's not even the main plot. It's an insult and so we are unhappy and protesting to show our discontent.

Now this is why we Africans and all we who feel offended are not going to shut our mouths. First of all, kdramas have been doing this for a long time, this time well not be silenced. Did I just hear someone say don't consume their contents then? If you're thinking like that do you know what you all who consume it then and the uneducated (going to school is just formalities, schooling your self is the real deal) and the Korean themselves will continue to have this prejudice believe of Afrians then because if what they consumed due to what the producers sent out. What message are they trying to send emphasizing on Africans (generalizing the blacks) as a continent who they introduced in their dramas with packs of animals I myself haven't seen before, and in 2022 saying they're digging well for us a 2nd well of clean water for the Africans,no wonder Asians sees Africans and because of what they consume and us not treating it right and calling them out they use it to react with us and they're minds are filled with what their TVs show them. Also, no shoes? Are you kidding me? They could have done better honestly. Moreso, Africa is a continent and not a country, those things they portrayed about Africans is an insult to all Africans, and form the preview of episode 3, they're still emphasizing on Africa Africa Africa🤦🏽‍♀️ Africa is a continent, please! This prejudice is what we're against. In the little thing they showed about blacks, is enough for a little child to consume and forever be prejudiced against Africans! We will not shut our mouths until they get to understand the implications of what they're doing and portraying, (that's even if the production team are not racist and don't overlook it) even
though y'all might argue it isn't even the main plot.
