Then there's the mistress and not-so-secret son of the Chairman.

The mistress also know something hence she's refusing to bring her son to their world.

The FL's step-father categorically denied murdering her father. But I think he knows who did it, and he's probably planning on taking revenge because he almost died.

And it has to do with the D company.

Maybe his fiend also told him and they were planning something. Both of them were supposed to die.

The eldest daughter of the Chairman. What's her play? After getting the code to the vault, she still did not make a move.

She is no ordinary character. She's not careless. She knows when to play her cards. Unless she has no idea where the vault is, LOL.

Another suspicious character, the hacker lady.

If they only need a hacker, they can create some random character. But they gave her some background, dialogues, and airtime.

And why is she running a violin store as a front? And why is the FL's half-brother also in that store during flashback? What are their connections?

Speaking of the half-brother, if he knows the owner is a hacker, he is definitely hiding something too.

I wonder what's the play of the fake beard guy.

1. Doesn't look like a secret agent. He would've attempted to save him first.
2. Yet, he's not forcing his needs to his patient.
3. Or, maybe, he's protecting his identity, was already blown so he's hiding.
4. But what if he's SoKor's agent, just waiting for orders and coincidentally crossed paths with ML?

Their escape was so calculated. He definitely knows what he's doing, and got him back in, what, Seoul?

If you first name end with a vowel then is "ya" and if it ends with consonant then "a"
It appears that way, but it's for all genders.

I just looked it up and it's mostly when a name ends in a consonant that adds 아. Actually it's not in the person's…
It's not "affection" per se, it's respect. It changes depending on your relationship with the other person. There is also "si" or "i", for example, 요한이 (Yohan-i) or 유키시 (Yuki-si (ofthen pronounced as "shi")). And a lot others I won't get in to.

If you're friends, best friends, or siblings, and the same, you can drop suffixes. However, in K-drama they usually don't even if it makes sense to do so, like for classmates, because foreigners are learning Korean language & culture through K-drama, and they'll learn improperly.

When it comes to Pacific Asian languages (a.k.a. North-East and South-East Asia), the best way to learn languages & cultures is to learn honorific and formal speech. So, shows meant for International audiences usually use honorific and formal speech. But for shows made for local only (but pirated any way), it's normal speech per the cultural & language rules since the audience understands it.

Set up: province
Purpose: make a business successful
ML & FL ended up working together

At least based on E01 of «Potato Lab», it reminds me of «Brewing Love». We can probably even say «Potato Love» and «Brewing Lab». 😇

Yey. Kim Gaeun is back! But her acting and character is different this time. Less cuteness and less free spirited. Hopefully they'll show her usual acting later, and those facial expressions and voice.

there's one thing I've never understood about kdrama. Why do they come into the classrooms at night? Are you going…
It's possible, not every school have the same set up. Also, you can hide or give different reasons why you're still in the premises.

I'm from the Philippines, my school years were from the 80s to 90s. There were times I overstayed. Times when I come early when it's still dark. Times when I went back inside and asked the guards to let me in because {reasons_here}. But not every school I've been to allows any of it. Some are very strict, especially after naughty scandals, bullying scandals, inter-school gang wars.

I can imagine it's the same in other countries.

It was weird 김민정 (Kim Minjeong) wasn't in the final episode, I suddenly thought "maybe, she was indeed pregnant IRL". And, yeah, she was. She gave birth only last month, January 2, 2025.

I wonder if the baby photo they showed was her real baby.

It's very cool for the writer and director to mesh in her real-life pregnancy into her fictional character.

Actually, non-English subs are much faster for shows without an official sub.

There's one show I'm still waiting for someone so fansub in English but already have Arabic and Turkish fansubs (to mention only two).

I'm always fucking wrong when it comes to broadcast times. In fact the episodes how from Sunday and not Monday.…
Home country: 00:00 everyday.

It's only ambigous if it's written as "12:00 midnight Monday", because it can mean 00:00 Monday (that's Sunday/Monday) or 24:00 Monday (that's Monday/Tuesday).

Since Korea uses 24-hour system for broadcast time to avoid confusion, 00:00 Monday is 12:00 of Sunday/Monday. If they wrote it as 24:00 Monday, then it means 12:00 of Monday/Tuesday.

However, MDL's countdown timer is relative so just calculate it to your local time.

Example, as of this post, the MDL is showing (round-down) 13 hours. My timezone is UTC+8, so that means current time "10:00" + 13 hours = 23:00 for E10 ( = 00:00 Tuesday KST).

Choose Your Own Ending

Option 1: They lived happily ever after. This was the first they gave. You can say, "Just watch until XX:XX mark".

Option 2: She passed away.

Option 3: ML returned to Earth, did not recover, met someone else.

Oh wait! There's Option 4!

Option 4: ML returned to Earth, did not recover, but got back together with 2FL.

When there are _no_ alternate endings, people create their own. When there _are_ alternate endings, people ignore it.

When writers don't give alternative endings, people complain with "Just watch until XX:XX mark".

When writers provided alternative endings, they still complain, "The ending is garbage, blah blah blah!"

🤷🏽🤦🏽

They even positioned the best ending earlier so people can say, "Just watch until XX:XX mark". But nope, they still complain. 🔈

Netflix's Three-Body sucks 9000%. Tencent's adaptation was 9000% far better.
