If I do decide to read, I fully understand I will encounter spoilers, and I only have myself to blame for that.
It's hard to implement "spoiler" tags when the voluntary moderators are not strictly implementing it.
For example, in some groups, like Star Trek, it is a golden rule to only have one thread, or hide behind spoiler tags, whenever there is a new episode - for 1 whole week.
After that, the moderators will announce "Spoiler for this episode has been lifted" because 1 week passed already.
Again, that's because we have active volunteer moderators and they strictly implement the spoiler rules.
Look at the Chinese shows here on MDL. They're strict there. But Korean shows in MDL is free-for-all.
I saw many people saying it's better than S1 but for me S1 was more better as the story felt so natural and here…
For me, it's weird that people are comparing the two shows. We've known their family line split, and we've been curious what happened to the other branch.
It would definitely be boring if the other branch has the same story as the Strong Woman branch of the family. For me, I'm happy the Strong Girl branch is different.
They even made it very interesting by adding something that wasn't in the Strong Woman story: they can have other abilities.
Not to mention, the Strong Girl branch is very mindful of their actions. Somehow, they find a way around the rule not to use their power for bad stuff. So, even though grandma flipped over the car of that guy, she retains her power because she found a reason why she had to do it.
Which, by itself, is another rule that was not obvious in Strong Woman story. As long as they have a good reason why they have to use their abilities, it is fine.
Another good thing about Strong Girl branch of the family, they are pretty much open about it. in the Strong Woman story, their branch decided to keep it a secret because they were burned by it. They were used. They had a bad experience.
The reverse happened with the Strong Girl branch, it appears their branch had a good experience, so they did not develop some fear about letting others know about their abilities.
The contrast between these two stories are so matched that we are starting to get a picture of how different the two branches are.
(LOL. I suddenly remembered grandma was mentioned in Strong Woman. Hahaha.)
Another good thing, in Episode 03 of Strong Girl, the cameo established new facts. Life has changed for Strong Woman, she's more open about it now, like the Strong Girl branch. She probably learned a lot from grandma too on how to ensure her power remains. Like the loopholes. (Think, flipping the car even though it was for a personal reason.)
The writer is building a very interesting world of "Soon" women.
Why they decided to cut her hair,? she looks so beautiful innocent and cute with her long and tressed hair! 😢…
True. But I guess they have to make her look more mature and more classy. It's not easy to do that when the long hair already made a very strong impression.
Still, she's doing well even with a short hair. For me, it's her face and expressions.
He is a spy. Since the party, he was acting suspiciously. He was always leading everyone to a certain action, which ensures their plan is going well. Or, staying away from murdering someone.

Yep. I mean, I get it, "plot device". But the way they used the spellbook, and then later added a spellbook of curses, made it no longer a plot device, it's an important factor in the story.
But, nope. There was nothing behind those spellbooks. They remained "a plot device that is not" LOL.
I wish they just turned it into a novel or webtoon so they can explain better what they have in mind. For sure there was something to it, but the live-action drama just wasn't enough to fit it all in.
I'm scared once K makes his play. He's a total unknown. Unknown variables are very dangerous. No matter how much you prepare and control things, an unknown can mess it all up and gets the upper hand.
Who said he planned it all? I don't know where the show showed or said any such thing.I got something very different…

The mystical stuff they added, as far as I'm concerned, can be ignored and we'll still have a very good romcom. I don't even understand why they added those side plots that doesn't even make any sense. Even showed there is a spellbook of curses, and then, nothing. Why did they even bother to add that if it won't make any difference in the story.

In fairness to the writer, the story they have in mind is better written as a novel so they hav the freedom to explore and build the world. Because of the limited time and budget in live-action works, they weren't able to flesh out what in the world is the past about and what those spellbooks got to do with their present, other than to establish that they reincarnated. Haha.

I can't wait for S03 "Strong Kids" ahahaha. Going to be very exciting. Maybe they'll be around early teens when the story starts.
I hope the Momo Tribe appears at least in the finale episode, helping them end the tyranny of Arthdal.

It can't be K, since Matthew only learned about his existence after.
Then K played everything.
I think K knows the grandpa is his stiffest competitor.
But K is not all-knowing, Lee Hwi So was a total unknown. Who would've known he will turn himself into a computer genius and create an elaborate plan?
This piqued K's attention so he returned to South Korea and started inserting himself in Matthew Lee's little game.
By killing the grandpa, K just showed he still has the upper hand. He sort of tested how good Matthew is. He tested the weakness of Matthew.
Now, K is ready to fight head on against Matthew.
