Title Reborn Rich Spoiler
As for speculations. I'm starting to think he got stuck in a time loop.
In this time loop, he can only change very minor details. For example, the death of his “real” mother is different in the new timeline. But so far, everything else is happening as history witnessed it.

He also mentioned how the youngest grandson is missing in his original timeline, and he did not worry about it too much. And as of episode 8, the show seems to be hinting at the possibility the youngest grandson was killed by one of the family members after the Ownership War was declared.

Remember how in the original timeline, everyone was at odds against each other? They were all into taking, owning the Group. Yet, in the new timeline, it started out as “one big happy family” UNTIL episode 8.

This seems to point that this was the moment why the family started to take sides and attacked each other. And Do Joon is not yet connecting the pieces together.

Yeah, if the assumption above is correct, he'll die again. Unless he can find a way to change something drastically. He can not change the death of his “real” mother, only why she died. In fact, we can probably say that his “real” mother was already contemplating on committing suicide, only that in the original timeline, she got a heart attack first. If so, then, everything is indeed happening as it should be. Everything is fixed.

He's stuck in a time loop.

I can't wait for the next episode or two, it's the Dotcom Bubble crash era! We were affected by that too, all the way here in the Philippines. Crazy period. After the Asian Financial Crisis, the Dotcom Bubble crash followed years later. Everyone was still trying to recover from the 1997 crash.

Those of us who were already in our teenage years would remember these two crashes because our lives changed drastically. One day, your family was doing well, probably even in the “rich” class, the next day, you have nothing. Then just when there is hope, and you're recovering, another crash, and everyone simply lost hope.

So is our CPSN still the CP or the Grand Heir will eventually become the King? Which is which? 'Protect the palace,…
The CP is planning to pass on the kingship to his nephew.

This is why they had to include the dialogue that the CP wants a daughter, it will ensure his plan will work. If he gets a son, it may become an issue because of politics. Alliances will form. People will start to whisper into the ears of others, and restart all the political war again.

His last resort is to give up his right, and his descendants' right to the throne, just to ensure the kingship is retained in his older brother's line. But this can become a problem later on. What if something happens to his nephew? Or his nephew doesn't have a son? Since he took an oath against taking the throne, or his descendants, then they're out of the picture. He needs to keep his right to the throne intact, if not for himself, for his descendants, to ensure they can protect the kingdom.

Unfortunately, his other brothers are not qualified other than his right-hand man, the son of the former handmaiden of his mother.

So, it's better for him to have a daughter first, to ensure his plan to pass on the kingship to his nephew will work smoothly. Otherwise, it's going to be yet another political war.

Can you explain the ending to me guys? The king reinstated everyone right? What happen to Queen Yoon whats her…
Queen Yoon was given her old status back, and probably a special “Queen” status, for formality--since they can not just switch the Queens just because, it's going to be very chaotic. Think of it as, she's a Queen, like before she was banished, yet doesn't have the same powers as a Queen (like ruling the women's court).

The Crown Prince saying “I will protect your kingdom”, it can mean two things:
1. CP will still be the next king, since he's older and legally, he's the Crown Prince. Normally, it would be his nephew that will be the next king, but it would be chaotic if things suddenly change.

So, they'll go with the current status quo, the CP will be the next king, and he will protect the kingdom that should've been given to his nephew. UNTIL the time comes when he's ready to rule, he may choose to pass on the title early.

2. He will refuse to be crowned the next king when the time comes; and instead will name his nephew as the king. But since he's too young (as far as his and his nephew's age are concerned), he will act as regent; or will rule in the name of his nephew.

Once his nephew's education is complete, and he passed all the tests and approvals required, then he will pass on the authority to his nephew, and probably will take on a position in the army or something; or live a quiet life.

Also, #2 is good because he can still be in line to be next king after his nephew… if something happens. He can be a backup king.

For #1, it's going to be more confusing because if he has a son, and later his nephew also have a son, then there's going to be a succession confusion. One line has to give way to bring back order, and the politics of the court will definitely take advantage of the situation.

This is the reason they had to include the dialogue, “My majesty wished for a daughter that looks like me.” It was a hint that the Crown Prince knew the succession issue that may arise. He already has a plan, and having a daughter instead of a son will ensure his plan will work. That is, to keep the succession within his older brother's line.

---

As for Hwan, yes, they do not. However, if the Queen and the King approves of it, they can. It is why he talked to his mother, because the first approval will come from her. The final approval will come from his father.

So beautiful and the high domestic ratings are rightly deserved. I did wish that there were more interactions…
Yep.

Especially Ms. Prince. I would love to see how they handled it considering that time period's views, and how the Queen and King will protect them.

Oh yeah! That hurts big time. The most brutal way to explain how one was used, especially for women.

He practically told her she's only an object, not a person, but an object he can discard after, zero value. T_T

The most important lesson of this show is this: A GOOD MOTHER will always raise good children.

Second most important lesson: A child who grew up, and educated with morals, will make fair decisions later in life.

Did prince uiseong’s mom go crazy or smtg? Also, were there no changes at all to the king and queen’s relationship?
It did hint that's what happened.

1. She did not notice the Queen was mother.
2. The Queen said to the Prince to stay strong and hold on to his mother. -- Which implies she knows something is wrong.
3. When his mother held his hands, she said his hands are warm. The reaction of the Prince was worry, not happiness.

I am suspecting his mother started to lose her sight because of her shock and immense stress. And it is well-known today that stress can indeed increase the risk of vision loss. It might be she developed a disease like glaucoma, even hallucination, and other possible diseases.

It may be temporarily blindness, if she doesn't have any eye-related disease, that means she will recover in time if given enough rest. Or, worse.

But, yeah, those scenes hinted his mother is sick. And it's not surprising, she had the worst shocks of her life in one fateful night.
1. Discovering she was used.

2. Discovering her love was one-sided.

3. Finding out her love is a deposed Prince—which itself would be a problem because of the excommunication against the deposed royal family.

4. Witnessing how her son killed his own father. A very despicable act, no matter which culture and time period we are in.

5. Her father killed by the deposed Prince, and her lover.

6. Her son could be sentenced to death, all because she fell for the tricks of the deposed Prince; and later her ambitions and failed plans.

6 worst shocks in one fateful evening.

LOL. The director sure knows how to make us laugh.

The NFS and Fire Vice-Chief suddenly brought outside an amazing setup of laptops and monitors, only for those to be useless. Reminded me of the boiling water in episode 1. =))

Yep. We need some things to make us remember the 90s. Hehe.

Even the mention of PC Bangs / Internet Cafés, I've totally forgotten it all started in 90s, and I was one of those who frequent it! ROFL

He doesn't remember much of the late 90s, and he's also being blindsided by his successes so far, which is typical, especially since he's after revenge.

Very few people can keep a level head and to keep anticipating things, yet they too can fail at times.
