This world/universe has great potential, but the acting and directing requires a major upgrade. It's understandable they're newbies, there's no question about it, but they also have to be able to take on criticism, they need to level up.
Uhh, I'm confused. Did you not ask for confirmation about a publicly available information? Anyway, it's not a spoiler if the information is publicly and officially available, in this case, in the cast list and poster. ^_^
That's like asking, “is Iron Man the main lead?” Then someone confirmed it because, well, he's listed first in the credits and in the poster. Then replying with, “that's spoiler”.
No actor is ever "too big" to be a support role. Many very famous actors even take on tiny cameos in films and…
Exactly. I don't know why there are people who assume that just because a celebrity is “big”, they are no longer qualified to play a support role.
The reason popular celebrities are rarely seen playing a support role after going mainstream was no other than strategy by their respective agencies. These celebrities would be happy to play a support role if they will be given the authority to decide for themselves.
There are also celebs who made it big but chose to play support roles consistently. These are the people who were given a chance to make a decision for themselves instead of their agency having full control over them.
So, bottom line, it's all about their agencies. Sure, there are celebrities who are too proud they vowed to never take anything other than lead roles after they went mainstream. It will bite them sooner or later. It doesn't matter if it's Korean, Japanese, Western, no one wants to work with a proud person; especially when they are already given leeway to decide their projects—projects their agency picked for them to select from.
Most often than not, only those in high demand gets away from being too picky and proud. And in an industry, like Korea, where there are countless celebrities, you definitely do not want to tarnish your reputation. It's a sure way for PDs to forget you exist.
Yeah i remember that too.. i was still in my junior high school that time. Fortunately my father had sold out…
And the crashes also permeated all sectors of life.
I remember there was a boon in VoIP products. Everyone were into it, buying and selling. Then dotcom bubble crash. The companies folded up. Support disappeared. Eventually the products, the investments, the "VoIP is the future" all gone.
Me: Wait, is that Lee Hye Ri, of Girls Day?!
me went to MDL to check the cast list
Me: IT IS HER! Muwahahaha. I should have started watching weeks ago!
*A few minutes later…*
Me: Waah, Tae In Ho?! You're kidding me?
me started to seriously check the cast list.
Me; Ooh, Lee Kyu Han. Oh Dae Hwan. And Mr. U-KISS.
Definitely should've started watching weeks ago. ^_^;;
Again, the world/universe has great potential.
