Don’t watch the last episode on Viki for now!! It seems like the posted the unedited version of the episode,…
Watch only from the official streaming service for this show, which is Viu. Support the official stream.

Am I crazy or is there a scene where I can see the mic stands or some sort of metal framework in the last episode?…
Watch only in the official streaming service, which is Viu for this show. They even funded it. Viki is an unofficial streaming service, the only reason it is listed there and Viu is not is because MyDramaList is bias towards their "partners".

If you are all watching from Viki, go watch in Viu.

MyDramaList is only listing Viki because they are partners with them.

Unfortunately, Viu IS THE OFFICIAL streaming service for this show and MDL refuses to list them.

It is about time MyDramaList reconsiders which are listed and which are not. Official streaming services are not listed in favour of "partners".

Title Lovers of the Red Sky Spoiler
As many of them telling that there is possibility of season 2 .. even tho I really liked this drama .. I binge…
There's no need for a Season 2, the story is about the "Lovers of the Red Sky", a.k.a. Ha Ram and Hong Chun Ki. Everything else were side stories for their romance.

For example, in the ending, one would probably wonder why Ha Ram's allies suddenly disappeared. They just don't matter. Another is, what happened with the rebellion? It doesn't matter either. Those were side stories to move forward the romance between Ram and Chun Ki.

That ending Epilogue… I felt like I needed more from that.. other than that beautiful finale for the 2 leads…
Yeah, I was surprised by it too. That garden is probably mystical. Hahaha.

What's up with all the blue screen in the final episode?! LOL The editor must have fallen asleep at the wheel.…
It was fine in Viu.

Was it ever mentioned why Ha Rams sidekicks where on his side with trying to seek revenge on the royal family?
Nope. That plot was useless and left hanging.

It could very well be a representation of what is actually going on in SoKor. Good writers usually use fiction…
In addition, since this was based on a webtoon, for a production company to choose this further add to the possibility that it is fitting to tell this story to a broader audience because it's no doubt what's "relevant" today (at least in their society).

I feel like every single kdrama I see these days is a law or thriller drama... and they all sound the same
It could very well be a representation of what is actually going on in SoKor. Good writers usually use fiction as their channel to voice their opinions without actually voicing their opinions.

Yup - In the end it felt a bit awkward but It was good watch nevertheless since I was able to finish too
Yeah, they had to have a recognition/graduation day for like 3 times. LOLs. I was expecting the ML to have his own too but glad they did not do that haha.

If only multiple seasons is a thing in Korea, this series could've done it, especially with that many stars in the cast, instead of trying to balance everyone's screen time. Maybe 10-12 episodes per season is a good fit, even in the West, it's becoming common (only big franchises are keeping the 16-25 episodes format).

The way I see it, the writer probably had a hard time balancing the exposure of the star-studded cast which led to the sudden drop in story quality after the first 2 to 4 episodes.

But still, overall it was great. They overall message of the story and how they wrapped it up was good.

I won't mind if they extend this to 200 eps cause this show is that much good, I just love to see their daily…
Exactly.

The various stories and relationships are relatable and do happen in real life. It's a down-to-earth show and full of hope, a perfect series to a very troubled world we live in today.

Last episode tonight, October 1.

So far, episodes 116 to 119 are awesome. They wrapped up a lot of things in a very nice and natural way even though each episode is only 30 min long. The writer, director, and the whole cast are super amazing in telling the various stories in this format. No overdoing, no rushing, not lacking, yet very powerful stories that all comes down to family, love, and relationships.

Though sad it's going to end, I can't wait for episode 120 regardless.

Yeri did well considering this was her debut in acting (not counting her one episode guest role in 2016). I hope she gets more projects where she plays an important role. I'm not saying her acting was perfect but she did handle the lead role well, no easy task for a newbie in TV drama.
