They didn't have to show "what happened". It's much better if the audience have something to discuss about the ending.
Some examples: 1. Did he really push his nephew? 2. Did his nephew misremembering things about getting pushed or he dreamt how will die and mistoon his sister? 3. Did the chairman recover, since he started showing positive signs? 4. Was Yeom arrested or did he escape?
There are stories better left open-ended because it fits the narrative and flow. Let the audience talk about it and fantasize.

2. Eun Seop is still the same in the new reality. The minor difference is that he was more brave with his feelings, and have more direction in life.
3. Shinhae (Kingdom of Corea or "KoC" for short) was transported by the villain to RoK Earth when he was still a kid, in exchange for his mother working for the villain as a spy in the palace. He took over the identity of Shingjae (RoK).
However, after the Reset, they never met the villain, so Shinghae never went to RoK Earth. Instead, they met the King's uncle and helped them properly.
Shinghae became a policeman because it's in his "destiny" to be one. (The show is deep into "destiny", so I'm using that.)
Shingjae, on the other hand, woke up. In the "villain" timeline, Shingjae did not wake up.
If I remember correctly, both Shinghae and Shingjae came from rich families. Shinghae's family went bankrupt. When the villain transported Shinghae to RoK Earth and took over the identity of Shingjae (RoK), the villain bought the company of his RoK father by orchestrating bankruptcy.
This plan ensured Shinghae forgets that he came from another Earth because his "bankruptcy" memory now aligns to his experience.
This is why, when the history Reset, Shingjae (RoK, the original) when he woke their family was still rich. Shingjae (RoK) family did not experience bankruptcy, it is Shinghae (KoC) family who experienced it.
4. They never explained it. But we can deduce some of the reasons:
* She don't want to leave her father behind. And of course, she cannot bring her father to KoC. * Yes, you are correct, because Luna exists, she cannot become the Queen of KoC. * It is dangerous for doppelgangers to meet because the initial reaction is almost always to kill the other person. "There can be only one!" * Since they have an identical DNA and prints, they can never fake it even if the King orders it. The truth will always come out, and once the Genie is out, it can never be hidden away again.
Imagine the KoC Earth learning about parallel worlds. The other countries will definitely demand that the King surrenders the flute "for the good of humanity", and then some people use it for evil purposes.
Or, force him to help them invade other Earths, or to steal technologies. Worse, make changes in their own past.
Or, the other countries might destroy the Kingdom because they're afraid he might change their past. (And probably steal it in the process so they can use it for themselves.)
The only reason no one can use the half-flutes was because it was sliced because of the villain and the king. They're "responsible". They never hinted if the complete flute can only be used by Korean royalty.

Personally, the ending would've been better if Luna and FL, created a joint task force, similar in the «Fringe». Luna will definitely appreciate to live with her father even if he's from a parallel world. And the FL and the King can meet easily too.
Sadly, they want to force the romance. 😅
The series is sci-fi mystery crime. Romance was a literary device only. But somehow, they got lost and it switched into Romance, so it ended as a Romance.
However, we can safely assume that they did more than exploring the multiverse every weekend. Those two are fools if that's the only thing they did until they got older. 🤣🤣 Look at the King's grandfather, he saved a little from the Korean war. For sure his grandfather did more than that.
So, it would be utterly foolish if those two lovebirds only toured the multiverse every weekend. His grandfather will probably pay him a visit. Hahaha.

If you like parallel world genre, it's one of the best. It's like watching «Fringe» but with a balance focus on both universes (Fringe rarely gave us much other universe plots).
If you're looking for Romance, it's not the main focus of the series. Romance here was only a literary device. However, it does get very romantic in the latter half of the series.
Finally, if you like time travel too, the last 4 episodes will give you a challenge on understanding the time travel rules. I posted an explanation in this show's MDL forums.
To summarize, it's sci-fi + mystery with a touch of crime/detective genre.

Besides, Koreans are well-known in making their actors younger and older than they actually are. They mastered make-up and styling just to ensure they don't have to hire another actor. (Although that is changing recently.)

Usually, only the top networks do a simultaneous filming and premiere, like how it is in the Western industry. They have the means to do that, and they're willing to pay for the exclusive time of the actors (which extends to post-production in case they have to re-film).
For the rest, it's cheaper to finish the entire production before premiering. They don't have to pay the actors for exclusive time, and they don't have to rush editing phase. If they need to refilm, that's the only time they use their extra budget (or request a new one).
