Same old One31
Started out strong, fell flat mid part, and a forced happy ending that's kinda disappointing. Every One31 BL has the same formula, they should start brainstorming for betterment of their story telling. I have the same issue with Love in the Moonlight and Flower Boy, I feel like they are very afraid of sad endings that they will force a happy ending even if it will ruin the flow of the possible masterpiece. I believe a sad ending is not bad, it actually leave a dent in the heart and soul that can make a series or movies a classic and unforgettable. I hope someday they can be brave enough to give us masterpiece that can make our heart break and our soul cry same as how even after years The Love of Siam still is unforgettable for me, that last part of Mew crying really leave a mark in my brain, heart and soul. I really want this series to be like that, but sadly it's not.
