I love the bickering between Hyundo and Eunso -and sometimes with Yeongjoo- and that's mostly why I'm planning to continue this, I have no big interest in the main story and secrets between the 2 families so I'm putting this on hold because it's hard for me to binge-watch 50ep while I am only interested in about 20mins of the 1 hour ep.
I think I'm the only one who didn't like this xD. The acting wasn't that good, there are a lot of scenes where I thought the acting is really really awkward and bad, and I see no chemistry between the 2MLs at all, friends maybe but I couldn't feel any love there. The story also has a few odd moments, like at the beginning who let 2 stranger to his house, and then ask one of them to be a nanny, really?? I didn't see a fantasy tag here. Also I'm really sorry to say this and I know this is a BL drama, but I can't really digest the idea of a totally straight man with a kid to fall in love with a guy, I mean why!? He literally did not do anything to make him fall in love with him, except for cooking and taking care of his daughter, and I don't think it's enough to fall in love, because then every nanny in the world would become a secret lover or a step-mother. It's not easy for gay people to be straight then why make it easy for straight people to be gay. You are what you are, you don't change, Period.
This was intense, I loved this series a lot, it presented an idea of losing your youth suddenly and unexpectedly found out that adult life isn't all roses. I love how the series explore every dramatic side of this idea and cross the threshold for every character affected by the 25 years lost, it went a little overdramatic at the end but I can see why they did this. I recommend it for the acting and the story, if you don't mind melodrama
This was long and slow, and so will be my review so buckle up!
I liked the story of youth where everything is confusing and you don't know what to do with your life that is dominated by your parents -that was the case here so I'll only mention that- and how as a young person you try to break out from your shell and be free to dream and be whatever you want... Ok, Lovely, I like that and it was good. Romance-wise this was so messed up, I wish they only sticked to their life problems because what the fuck !? This is either got really shortened to skip some really important emotional changes or it's just badly written and I can't decide since I have not read the manga. Also all parents here are messed up, they are so controlling and selfish. I like the story and I didn't mind the pace but the romance is bad.

Again and again I'm going to say, if two people got remarried, their children from the former partner are not real siblings, NOT FREAKING SIBLINGS, this isn't how fucking biology works, and I'm not a fan of step siblings love myself but the way they represent it here is just too overdramatic for god's sake!!! The mother in a scene literally jumped into the boy's room because she heard a girl's voice and thought it's her daughter inside!? Really!!!?????? If they are oh so siblings what is wrong is talking in a room???? They are the same age, in the same school, and were practically friends before the marriage!? What... How to explain this scene! For the love of God, someone tells me what was that for!? What really pissed me off was that they had feelings for each other BEFORE the parents but because of them they could not even admit their feelings for each other and moved on, and after all this shit you got a divorce!? YOU GOT A FUCKING DIVORCE!!!!????? Like "sorry dears, c'est la vie, adults stuff" Good lord in heaven, give me strength!!!! I wanted them to end up together just to fuck with the mum really, I didn't care much who loves who but I really wanted to piss her off.
The title says it all, this is not a normal love story, when obsession is involved get ready for some nasty shit! And forced sexual acts are part of the bargain because obsessed person would naturally be aggressive and mentally unstable. And that's probably why I can't complain about the ML here. The series is short, 4ep and like the one before it was kept simple so there is no place to explain much or build up characters, and putting that in mind I kinda like this one because the acting was not bad, they actually kissed like two normal people - despite the fact that it wasn't normal lol but you get what I mean- it wasn't awkward so overall this was a success.
I love how light and quick these web dramas are, no unnecessary problems and no complications. Except for one thing, it didn't really explain why A he hesitated at the beginning but everything worked out for good so, it doesn't matter.

Since I haven't read the source material and I don't know anything about China's ban on LGBT contents, I'd judge this as a BL dramas -also I didn't know that this was stopped and it's actually not finished-

The bad things about this -and this might have a spoiler though the tags gives you an idea and sorry for the language xD- mostly the ML is the problem here, the guy is a total fucked up obsessive sadist lol and I mean this in a bad way, he did every single thing you MUSTN'T do to anyone, lover or not. Abuse, kidnap, forced sexual act, cheating, scratching the word "consent" from his freaking dictionary, like dude! What the hell do you feed on!? The devil's pills of sins!!?? And the duality in his personality is wow!!! Believe it or not he has a good personality -well, supposedly xD- but, he couldn't even let anyone, literally anyone even walk beside his "lover" this is high-level fucked up personality disorder and very annoying to watch. Another bad thing was the kissing scenes, these were too bad, they had chemistry in everyday interactions,but the sex/kiss was as phony as a 2dollar bill. Also the edit was a bit off in some parts but overall it was alright.
The lack of consent was annoying but since they both love each other we are trying to close our eyes about it, I liked the drama but I felt guilty about that tbh. Watch it and judge for yourself because liking this is debatable.
It started off as a normal rom-com drama -without the com. part mostly as it was bland- with a few daily life morals and important life views, but then it turned I to a completely different drama, it didn't actually solve any crisis the students had, it actually became weird and focused only on Q10 and how attached the ML to her. It wasn't bad but it's not that good also, every story presented here was left without end, it felt empty. Only he story of Q10 and ML had an end so I can't really say the drama was bad as it is complete story with good ending -putting aside the unnecessary complications of the story- be that as it may, if you like any side character story here you'd be left frustrated mostly.
I watched the anime and I'm not a big fan, but this is quite decent adaptation, one night say it's actually a very good one. I fully enjoyed the movie, I wasn't bored at all and I didn't have anything I didn't like about it while watching.

His acting was so natural, he caught my eyes at the first scene before I knew that he'd reappear again later. His expressions were priceless xD I haven't seen mother but I'm waiting for his upcoming drama, he is going to be one of the Main leads so assumably he is going to appear more.
I don't know why but I was trying to like this one, because it's different from other BL dramas, it's realistic and authentic without the fantasy or fun -and sometimes cruelty- you see in other BL. But I got mad at how one-sided this was, I know it's actually about the guy, but it wasn't fair for the girl. Actually when she knew the truth, I felt sorry for her, I know he is struggling and I fully understand that the drama is focusing on that, but it's not an excuse to use her, I'm sure her character would understand him and fight for him but why make her suffer and don't give her a chance to fully get angry and vent. Everything happened so fast I wished I could see her and him talking things out expressing their feelings and accepting each other. The last 2 ep tied things up nicely and I'm satisfied with how everything ended.
