Proof that good acting can save a drama
It's been a while since I've enjoyed a KBL that much.I found the story full of holes, and the beginning was slightly weak, it gets better each episode till the finale which was a let down IMO.
Be that as it may, I was entertained because of the two leads (or 3 leads, let's say)
Story: I didn't understand a few things, like what happens to the original version when he time travel, like when he went back to the past, what happens to him in the present, and when he goes back to his original timeline, what happens to himself in the past after he changes it!? It's a known fact that what you change in the past affects the present so it's understandable that he can save him, but what I didn't like is the way they made him disappear in the timeline he leaves, like when he goes back to 2008, he disappears in the present like dust!! That doesn't make any sense.
Another thing is, the end, they made it very vague, unnecessarily I dare say, it felt like they didn't know what to do so they added a bunch of flashbacks and just let them meet and BOOM! Happy ending!
Acting: the reason this is one of the best KBL I've seen recently, because the chemistry and the way each actor represents his character is spectacular, the two leads were amazing, I think in "A Breeze of love" JiHan outshone JeongYou a little but here, I believe JY was amazing specially in the 4th ep, the confrontation part was great, his facial expressions and acting throughout the show was top-notch!! And of course JH was great,I mean, from the very first ep. he succeeded in catching my whole attention and gave me a few giggles too, he is adorable.
Another thing that worth mentioning, and I'm not trying to belittle any actor or series but I've recently watched another KBL (won't mention any names) with a story close to this one, but from the first episode I started yawning and I barely was able to finish the show by skipping most of it, and it was same duration as this, my point is, both dramas had a simple mediocre script but I enjoyed and rated this show much higher than the other one because of the acting, despite having no fan service here while the other show was full of them.
That been said, I admire the efforts done by the whole cast, despite the flawed script and the vague end, I wish they made it a bit clear what actually happened and tied up the end better~~
I would definitely recommend this show, it worths every second ~~

LSD-enhanced Wattpad story
Oh god!! Where to begin with this review!!The opinions about this show are very polarised, you either like it very much, or hate it to the core.
The reason IMO is the genre VS the execution.
For me, it's like the first bite of a brownie offered to you on a random college party lol you start seeing smells and hearing colours, then after a while, sad reality influences your imagination and drama happens ~~
It's mainly a sci-fi story, but it was so ridiculous so we kinda roll our eyes while watching because it has no rules, and in it's core doesn't make sense, basically when something need to work out, they will make it so, if something has to get messed up to serve the plot we will make it fail so it's like the writer was high on something while writing.
Also I mentioned it's a Wattpad-like story because it mixes the obsessive ML genre with a bit of supernatural elements and some ABO vibes, you know, the "werewolves" stuff. And I read these all for the first time on Wattpad hence the reference.
I won't dwell much on the details but I'll just answer the important questions.
1- is it a good show? Tough question, it depends on your taste really!! If you simply like the mentioned genres and sub-genres above, watching it to relax and basically don't care about the silly stuff going on, just here for the fun and a hell of a lot of making-out scenes, you gonna like it, want something deep, search somewhere else.
HOWEVER liking the genres only won't guarantee liking the show, it's sudden switch from something to another, and the insertion of some random scenes makes you scratch your head a few times, also 40 episodes of ridiculous plot and random stuff can be a bit too much, and does anyone else remember that it's an incident happens on an earth-like planet that is told by a robot or something? No? Just me? Alright.
2-is it well acted? Welllll! Characters are not even great, so you can't expect too much from the actors, FL in some scenes was meh! And aside from crying, none of the leads have shown much of a facial expressions except maybe staring at each other, but the making out scenes were nice, ML was good, and I liked one side character that sadly didn't have a great end lol
3- is it worth watching? Not really, unless you want to skip the plot and watch the kissing scenes which you can easily find many edits of on social media, but of you have seen some and was intrigued to watch the whole show, then give it a shot lol you gonna find exactly that~
4- will I watch it again or recommend it? Short answer, No.
One last note, I didn't hate the experience, I just wish it was more consistent.

I was entertained by the good acting and the FL character and the whole spirit exchange, I also was so eager to see how will they end it in term of the romance between the leads, because of the dilemma of being in two different times, you wouldn't want the FL to die in present and at the same time there is no way to stay with the ML otherwise.
Sadly that didn't last much, half way through and the show turned into a political game, and suddenly side characters started to have longer scenes and more importance in the story and it deviated from the romance that I was intrigued by, so I totally lost interest when it started to take itself too seriously, I was fine with the FL antics because even when she made them learn stuff from the future, they were insignificant but at some point you will wonder if her acts can actually change the future and suddenly the fun is gone~~
and even when they picked up the romantic part again, I was not excited anymore, I started skipping and just wanted to get over with.
The episodes are very long with too many things happening that I'm not interested in, so if you are not into the ancient stories or Thai historical show don't listen to the comments and give it a go, because you will lose interest once that sparke in the beginning is lost.
I'm definitely not saying this is a bad show, don't get me wrong, but I'm trying to say the show has it's own targeted audience, and if you are not one keep your expectations low, this is very long show to skip some parts and enjoy the rest.
I'm rating this low because it had some expectations that were not met, and I didn't like all characters.

Messed up characters in a messed up story
I've mixed feelings about this show, but I have to admit the most perplexed shows I've ever seen were Taiwanese ones, something about their storytelling makes me feel intrigued and appalled at the same time.Story: a total mess up, you can't predict anything because it doesn't end the way it started, and weirdly enough the couple who you think will end up with are just on good terms, and the other couple with the most complicated start, ends up with an even more messed up end, you don't know what is going on and you can't just focus on characters with this much happening, for example: the Second Main FL, she started as this poor unlucky woman, and ends up the second hand for the "president"... like, you can't simply expect the story to turn that way, it's explained in the show but I mean you don't see anything coming.
Characters: I don't really agree that all characters are messed up, the only character I don't understand is the ML (the psychiatrist) I mean, how did he even become one? A lot of questions surrounding him in a way that makes it harder to come up with a personality for him!! What is he like? You don't really know, you can't expect his actions because you can't even predict them, he acts in a way that is completely random and messed up.
The main FL, is a normal woman with a traumatic past, the second FL is just too unlucky, the second ML is just a dreamer with mommy issues.
All can be understood despite the weird things happening to them throughout the story.
Music is insignificant and direction was ok, the only thing that bothered me was the unexpected everything, and I end up not knowing if I actually liked it or not, I'm just glad managed to finish it and I don't even feel good after finishing it, hence a barely acceptable rating ~~

Aside from that there is nothing, the FL idolised the ML since she was a kid, and the ML loves the FL so much so he asked to marry her.
We have these two innocent looking beautiful leads who are in love and experience life together whole supporting each other through it all.
Story is very simple, kinda no brainer, and doesn't require much of your time either.
I'd say watch it after something heavy or dark, sometimes we need something silly and light every now and then. Just don't expect anything grand ~~

Satisfying
When I first started the whole show, I didn't know it was heavy on the romance, nor I did care about it, I just wanted to see the revenge part, which is why the first part was a bit redundant and slightly stretched IMO.This part however, Is very satisfying and better than the first one, because I get to answer the two things I was curious about when I first read the plot, 1- the details of the revenge, and 2- how does Chou Pin Yu fit in the whole Jen Yao-Hsiao Tung relationship.
First thing I really enjoyed the revenge part, it was very satisfying and enjoyable to watch, ok call me crazy but I didn't care, I wanted them all dead, and I don't even feel sorry, also the ML despite being a victim himself, I didn't expect a happy end, not did I care to have one, that's what I loved about it.
Second thing, that was the cliché-est twist ever, I saw it coming and I kept denying it, I didn't know they will actually go the easy road cause you know that the first thing that will pop up in your mind when you see Jen Yao's first reaction seeing Chou Pin Yu in the first ep of the first part, and that was a meh! Twist... But still it made sense enough to accept it.
I also loved two things about this show and I hated one thing (mild spoilers)
1- I like Hsiao Tung end, broken but still, I hate when revenge is after the victim is gone, like mate, can you give them some sort of pretending life with any sort of happiness with her family and friends, the very last scene however has raised some questions about her end, but either way she achieved her dream finally and that's more than what I ever can hope for.
2- I loved how Yun Chen played a major role in the revenge, and how she helped her best friend, her character is my favourite, she isn't strong yet she managed to help somehow.
3- I hated how the ML actually killed the evil characters, I mean killing is killing but I wanted some torturing tbh, it's better for them to feel pain for much longer than an easy quick death, I know I sound really evil but they deserve it, no one can blame me.
I don't understand the last scene, I don't understand the need for ambiguity since it's all done and everything is over, but either way I am satisfied with their end, I only wish it has less romance and more violence, but compared to the first part, this is much better ~~

I understand that's how the story works and that's how she managed to get away with a new BF every month thing, but now that she already have the ML, why does she keep doing the same thing over and over.
It's kinda annoying as the ML was all patient and calm because he knows about her trauma and everything, but still she was really spoilt for someone with a painful past and under continuous bullying and extreme abuse.
By that time both leads are in love but the way she kept seducing then denying him made it look like she only want to use him, I'm not saying she should give in once he confess, instead she should stop trapping him with her charm and try seriously to get her revenge.

I was wondering how will they walk around the matter without glamorising stalking by mistake or giving the stalker some excuse by the end, they kinda played it safe as I ended up accepting the final without any complaints.
The cast was amazing, and the characters were very likable and lovely, the four colleagues relationship was what I liked the most, I found myself enjoying the time they showed them caring for each other and helping each other out more than the romance.
Overall very enjoyable series, I just wish they made it a little shorter as the first 6 episodes are basically the same till the 7th where everything started to unfold ~~

It's not that I'm complaining, the show was entertaining specially when the FL is strong and has a solution for every trick they play on her but the romance however, is just too plain.
I would have liked it better if it's about achieving your dreams and you know working hard and so... But romance is completely weak here, and the ML appears in less than half of the scenes.
Overall nice, if you skip the forced romance here. I just didn't like the end, i don't know if the version I watched was choppy or is that actually how it ended, but it has a happy end in the novel, but nothing about what happened IRL, which is kinda weird end IMO.

Cute
That was extremely cute and lovely but sadly it was a bit draggy, specially in the latter episodes. The premise is adorable and very Manga-like, so if you like innocent and pure love stories, you are in for a treat.
However it had its fair share of cliché moments and the very stereotypical arcs in every love story ever existed.
I will not say much about it because compared to these things it was more enjoyable and full of swooning moments.
I believe the negative side is the age difference or to be specific the FL being still in high school, but if you actually watch it, you will understand that there is nothing icky about it, and both characters were too pure and innocent. You won't even think about their age.

My God, how draggy was it ~
This started off really great, nice balance between her perspective and his to start telling the story right from the beginning, their first encounter and how everyone's life got entangled.Nice crime, great whodunit, romance too is fantastic and characters are great.
But for me it should have ended at ep 23 with ep24 them catching the bad guy and ending everything related to the drugs case and the crime case.
İt needn't be 40 episodes at all, I got bored and wanted everything to end.
I would still recommend it because it was well done, but I wouldn't blame anyone for dropping it half way~

Rich man. Poor woman.
If cliché was a series.I have to admit that unconventional Cinderella love stories are not my cup of tea, and I'd rather watch a sloth while listening to nails on board.
This one is one of those dramas that doesn't make any sense and you just watch them as guilty pleasure.
Not saying it's bad, it's actually ok, ML is handsome, sweet all the way, totally green flag. FL is innocent, weak but still stand up for herself and very successful if given a chance.
Story is simple, poor girl rich man who is like a genie that solves her problems and cure her trauma, of course accept all her flaws while having none whatsoever.
What I didn't like was ... All of the above, you really have to have no brains while watching, cause it'd only make sense to a zombie, why the ML loves her so much, why the others hate the FL so much, why all that bad luck, how the trauma that lasted years was cured in 30 seconds and how come the ML does all that for someone he only saw for exactly 10 mins and doesn't even know, man how come he actually remembers, if I saw my distant cousin I'd probably not remember her, nor even her name ~
However, it's not entirely bad, there are a few things that were nice, like the FL has good clothes this time, no one attire for the whole show thing, ML has some mean suit brooches and the ML is easy on the eye so it's not entirely bad.
He reminds me of someone that I can't remember xD but he looks familiar and this is the first time I've seen him in anything so it gotta be someone else ~~

I loved it, it's definitely an upgrade compared to other lakorns I've seen, of course it follows the same path miscommunications, manhandling, slap/kiss, and of course over the top acting from the evil characters.
I have so many things I didn't like about it but I'll just state why this was different in a good way because what I complain about is the standard for every Thai lakorn and I can't just break the system.
First I love the chemistry between the leads, despite the controversial premise, I believe the ML is a nice guy, with questionable behaviour yes, but still deep down he is nice, the FL is just too stubborn and quite a hypocrite because she doesn't believe the ml nor trust him while she hides a billion secret, manipulate her family and somehow everyone loves her and forgives her because she is a victim, I agree on the latter but that doesn't give her a free pass to do whatever she wants.
That been said I loved their flaws, because that makes them believable, yes insufferable in some scenes but still it's a nice escape from the "perfect leads" that I've been seeing in other shows so I liked that.
Another thing is the pace, yes the story is quite stretched and too many repeated moments but it's not boring and I only skipped the FL friend's scenes cause it's boring and the evil characters scenes because I don't think I can watch them without laughing.
I believe I also liked the flirty ML Vs the angry cat FL in the mid and late episodes, where there is less angst, manhandling, forced back hugs, and more side eyes and throwing things at the cheesy flirty ML playfully.
That been said, I generally liked this show and I'm definitely recommending it for lakorn lovers ~

My Husband Loves to Pretend to be Sick

I came across this drama by chance, now that I know who the ML is, back then I didn't know any vertical drama actors, and I found that scene here xD.
It was the scene after their first night and I now understand why she liked it lol CTK has no business being this adorable xD and tbh out of all the actors I come across he is probably one of the least likely to act shy and innocent xD somehow funny too ~
But hats off to the FL that I don't know yet sadly, for being this funny, she literally carried the whole show because the story was so slow tbh and I generally wasn't a fan, but the two leads deserve praise ~

It's a family drama about loss, struggles and love, I don't know if I can call it slice of life but it's about life in general.
I loved all characters, I don't understand the severe animosity between the daughter and the mother in the beginning but I believe it's how they wrote the daughter's character, hence the rudeness.
I like how it ended with everyone overcoming their problems and moving on from their trauma, that been said it's slightly sugar coated, which is great but unrealistic a little xD but I'm glad they ended it this way, they all deserve to live happily.
I loved the Aunt "seon young" and Tae Oh and I felt really sorry for him in the beginning being the completely unwanted person everywhere, trying to fit in but struggling to, I wish they had explored their relationship earlier so that we can see some of their happiness. I believe the actors can't shoot intimate scenes like kissing, so they played it safe but I wish they casted a bit younger actors so that they'd be more comfortable showing some romance on screen. However, I believe they did an amazing job so I'm not really complaining I'm just sharing some thoughts.
Aside from that there is nothing much to write home about, if you life family dramas about overcoming struggles and being optimistic go for it, it's well done, and don't forget the tissue box if you are sensitive ~
