I think she really love to be a part of the action and doesn’t want to leave the group and at the same time…
I agree with your interpretation because that's what I got out of their conversation. She didn't want to leave the delegation and wanted to see it through. Ruyi also didn't want to be ordered around by NYZ because he's partly clouded by jealousy and as she says he "doesn't trust her".
He asked for concessions from her in the past and she respected it and acquiesced. In this case why is he asking her to leave and wait at the Ning residence like a damsel who will disrupt things, rather than an equal partner he can trust, rely on and respect (and she's very much his equal in terms of skills and intelligence).
Since it's an equal partnership there should also be proper discussion, rather than a one-sided decision.
At least that's how I interpreted the recent episodes.
I actually don't think LTG is bad at all. I quite like his character. It's rare to have someone portrayed as a…
I also like his character, probably because I'm nostalgic for Return of the Condor Heroes student-teacher vibes. But I'm leaning towards LTG being an antagonist rather than a villain per se because there are greater "villains" to deal with in both countries.
LTG seems like he has deep separation anxiety issues that he needs to address and he's clinging onto the "fake Shifu" because it's his emotional lifeline and this "visage" gives him will to live. I hope he overcomes it, and seeing how Ruyi has mentored Yang Ying and guided her to be stronger, I think Ruyi will accomplish the same for LTG.
the subs have me so confused....is she in disguise or not...lol omgomgep3 She Ye was looking like Elvis Presley…
Based on the three episodes I've watched of this drama, she's actually not in disguise. The story is based on a matriarchal system and the FL is seen as a threat by the queen emperor who has sent assassins after her. Shu Cheng's mother tells her to act like a playboy and ruin her reputation to ease the queen emperor's concerns. It's pretty funny but I recommend waiting for better subtitles to be released before starting this show.
