I think we have to look at this drama from an unrealistic view, because the idea/webtoon is already unrealistic and it's not going to be historical accurate. That is where I think all of the criticism is going to come from and honestly I don't have much faith in this adaption. Me and probably a lot of other people have watched many historical dramas (Asian and western), so it might be hard for them to watch something that is different from their idea of what a historical show looks like. I hope it's entertaining and good though.

However, I still hope this is more enjoyable and better than the other Kdramas that have came out so far.
the bullying scene in this drama is the mildest i've ever seen ... try and watch " the king of pigs" ...…
I'm not trying to say this Kdrama does it the worst, I'm just pointing it out, because it seemed so unnecessary for what the drama was focusing on. I really want to criticize every school drama for this aspect
What do they gain by writing and then filming the cruelest and most unnecessary bullying scene possible? Can't they just imply it or show how the victim is affected by such treatment?
Anyways I'm definitely surprised at the high ratings.
I only bumped down my rating, because of the ending lol. It's giving parasocial and delusional if we were to look at it from a realistic perspective, but honestly the drama was enjoyable. I thought it'd be cliche and predictable, but it was fun.
It has been a long time since I actually enjoyed a supernatural kdrama, but this one has been good. Predictable, sure, but the acting, romance and comedy have truly made it worth it.
I didn't like a single character. Surface level story wise, I like the metaphors and it's good if you view it as a family drama type of show rather than something that has an issue to be resolved.
While watching it, you'll start to think...it's just not worth it and this guy should literally move on.
They're coming after this girl becuase they think she will expose their betrayal of the gang and the ML is fighting for the relationship harder than the FL is.
However, I still hope this is more enjoyable and better than the other Kdramas that have came out so far.

2. just give us the ending in the first season not the second
