Honestly, I felt hyped watching the first episode and was very interested in the series. The FL seemed like she was going to be a cool character with her drive to live and what she described to rise. However, I started to lose interest when the ML dreamed about his past life and I felt I knew exactly where it was going, especially when by episode 3 we started to see someone who looked like him in the past.
I was hoping it would just be about her living in modern time and adjusting, but it just became a deeper plot of problems in both timelines that need to be resolved. I watched a lot of time travel stuff, so I was hoping for something simple or different. It just wasn't interesting to me.
Heo Nam Joon looks really good though and I hope to see more actors and actresses I'm unfamiliar with in more Kdramas.
I thought it was realistic. Being a police officer at that time is not easy, you have limited resources and people who only care about their own interests.
Every single time they caught the wrong person and used a forceful interrogation, they don't even realize that the real killer will just go on to continue killing.
I think we have to look at this drama from an unrealistic view, because the idea/webtoon is already unrealistic and it's not going to be historical accurate. That is where I think all of the criticism is going to come from and honestly I don't have much faith in this adaption. Me and probably a lot of other people have watched many historical dramas (Asian and western), so it might be hard for them to watch something that is different from their idea of what a historical show looks like. I hope it's entertaining and good though.

However, I still hope this is more enjoyable and better than the other Kdramas that have came out so far.
I only bumped down my rating, because of the ending lol. It's giving parasocial and delusional if we were to look at it from a realistic perspective, but honestly the drama was enjoyable. I thought it'd be cliche and predictable, but it was fun.
It has been a long time since I actually enjoyed a supernatural kdrama, but this one has been good. Predictable, sure, but the acting, romance and comedy have truly made it worth it.
I didn't like a single character. Surface level story wise, I like the metaphors and it's good if you view it as a family drama type of show rather than something that has an issue to be resolved.
