Well I never said I had a problem with it,it’s just that I would like that to be addressed since usually people in their 20s don’t date someone a decade older than them

I saw the post about their character introduction and it said 24 there

Umm so this is very embarrassing but I realised I did the math wrong and they have a 11 year age gap not 9

Apparently it’s been adapted from a novel and I am not sure how much of Jaab and Jan’s story it has but you could give the og books a try

Oh God!!! I am so sorry I got their real ages and their character’s ages all messed up.There is a 9 year age gap between the characters,Pat being 24 and Jeng is 35 but I still do hope that they talk about it

while I obviously do not have an issue with their relationship because they are both consenting adults,I still hope that they deal/talk about the age gap because its one thing if you are let’s say in your 30s and dating someone a decade or more older than you but it’s a whole different story when you are just 21, you are fresh out of uni and everyone around you is most probably dating someone closer to their age and a 21 year old and 35 year old are in VERY different stages of life

I personally feel that for Pat it’s not the current Put that he wants to date,he most probably gave Put a second chance as he thought that he would feel the same emotions he felt when they first dated and now he is disappointed since he has realised that their relationship isn’t and can’t possibly be the same or at least he doesn’t feel the same as he felt before
