As I said before, episode 1-2 were good but a slow start,but from episode 3,it gets very interesting. I'm loving the architecture,the outfits,make up and the over all aesthetics. BaiLu looks so damn beautiful, I've never seen her such beautiful look in a drama, except for the time when she was in Empress outfit in Kunning Palace. She's absolutely gorgeous. And Cheng Lei's acting really catches your eyes. <3 Break all the records,be a blockbuster hit. and give a hard slap on the haters faces, BaiLu. and People who are trying to sabotage TFJ and smearing BaiLu's name, I'll shove a damn π up in your..maybe then,your dogasses will stop itching. iirc, they took inspiration from ming dynasty fashion, it's not historically accurate, because the novel is historical fiction.(somebody correct me if I'm wrong),they had different fashion than han dynasty and tang Dynasty (these two have great fashion) and tbh,just be glad it's not qing dynasty fashion(google the male ones lol)

yeah my bad.. I mixed up song zuer's dramas lol. but she did big projects. Scarlett Heart(one of the biggest hits that people still remember),Ten Miles Of Peach Blossom(no one can forget that. Bai Qian,Ye Hua,Feng Jiu,Donghua still lives in my mind),Love O2O(ahhhh this drama got me into Cdramas lol)
absolutely loved the first two episodes. a slow yet fast pace start,but what an intriguing plot,so different than novel but so similiar too. and I love the water scene the most,so far. hehehe..And the cinematography was really really good, won't expect less from someone who made Love o2o,ten miles of peach blossom, scarlet heart(the OG of the kdrama Scarlet Heart Ryeo)β¨πI love the soundtracks, specially Zhou Shen's. Cheng Lei's acting as a helpless man who feels the rage inside, really really good. I knew Cheng Lei was a fit for Mo XiuYao. Can't wait for more episodes. I just know it's going to be sooooo good with all the other characters. and supporting actors are quite good, specially that empress dowager,her voice is fit to be an arrogant empress dowager. and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE BAILU'S VISUALS IN THIS DRAMA. No overloaded make up,no extremely complicated outfits but so ethereal and natural. Lesss goooo BaiLu,Cheng Lei and lesssss gooooo MoLi.
