Try reading the novel or maybe watch 2 eps a day so you can at least remember what happened in the episodes. Honestly, one of the reasons you keep forgetting is probably because it’s been a while since you last watched it. Also, don't watch it at 2x speed, because you'll definitely forget the plot.

But if I remember correctly, the first episode actually shows the present day where WWX dies, and then the following episodes dive into their past, back when they were mostly happy(backstory). That’s why I highly suggest reading spoilers or checking out the novel first just to get a feel for the plot.

In the first episode, you can really tell it’s just “BL flavored,” but I didn’t expect the dynamic to go beyond bromance as the story progressed. Still, I can’t really call it a BL since it hasn’t been officially labeled that way.
It just spread around that this drama is “BL,” even though it’s not, so some people are expecting a romantic relationship between the characters. Others are even looking for a kissing scene, even though they already know it’s a student-teacher (tutor) relationship.😭
And honestly, I’m so tired of explaining why this isn’t BL, so I guess it’s up to you if you still want to label it as BL after finishing it.
