I will never understand what is the big deal about this drama. I didn’t drop it only because I was curious to understand what got so many people thrilled about it. A cheap cliche story about a piss poor mother raising her child in poverty that has been previously repeated hundreds of times in other dramas is what was supposed to make me cry? Or was I supposed to give it a 10/10 because they casted two mainstream actors (probably to gain success through their rabid fans mass bombing ratings instead of an actual good plot, a cheap trick). Anyway meh, 6/10

I watched over 100 dramas and My Mister is still my absolute favorite. I wish I could erase my memory and watch it again for the first time. Absolutely masterpiece from start to finish.

That was the first thing that came to my mind during the first episode. But then again, he’s way too skinny for a guy with ED who had apparently been a failure for 20 years now. That’s a plot hole imo

I just finished the first episode and it seemed underwhelming, I expected much more from this screenwriter. Her other works got me hooked from minute one. Is it the ML overdoing it (he was also super annoying in DP) or should I just lower my expectations? Anyway it’s nowhere near My Mister or My Liberation Notes. I hope it gets better.

I was mind blown watching it for the first time as a teenager when it came out.

This is not your average romcom, it actually has an original plot and elements of comedy. The ratings are deserved imo.

She was quite clingy during the hospital scene and after. He was clearly uncomfortable there. But after that, she kept it very cool.
