Must have started when she was pretty young then, since most people are unaware. I was already imagining her family had tattooed the thing on her forehead when she was a kid to fool people into thinking she's someone important.
He keeps saying not to try to seduce him with her beauty, but he was clearly already affected the first time he saw her. The fact the he needs to repeat it so many times only shows how well it's working without her even trying. He's in trouble when she actually starts trying.
When did the leads got together?Any breakup? How long?Any love triangle? Annoying?Happy Ending?
When did the leads got together? At the end of episode 26.
Any breakup? How long? There's basically a breakup in episode 33 which lasts until the end of episode 35.
Any love triangle? Annoying? No real love triangle. As I mentioned in my comment, while she's kind, she's detached and people see him as scary. While Qian Lin does fall for Ji Tan Yin, he never really expresses or is annoying about it.
I agree with everything u said. I was literally thinking all the same things when I was watching ðŸ˜. Like the…
Glad I'm not the only one. I tried really hard to like Tang Hua and Zhi Dai, but their story was indeed rather boring and didn't add anything to the overall plot.
🤣 That's such a pure thought though. People like us who have been watching Xianxia for years are all used to…
It's indeed very common, but not as prevalent as in this drama and Love and Redemption. It does happen often enough that we don't even blink an eye anymore.
This was a good drama with a few things that kept it from being great.
One of the things that didn't translate too well was the chemistry between Ji Tanyin and Yuan Zhong. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. It's not a fiery chemistry. That works out perfectly fine in the beginning of the drama, when both of them are keeping a metaphorical distance. However, as the story progresses, their relationship and their feelings deepen, but the chemistry between the two remains the same. The only reason you can see their feelings grow is because of the actions they take or the things that they say. The unspoken attraction is missing.
The drama also seemed to focus on characters that were relatively boring like Tang Hua and Zhi Dai and didn't show enough of Han Nv that had the potential of being a great, complex character, but ended up seeming petty and weak.
I did like the main leads. Individually, they are very interesting characters. Yuan Zhong who went through more than his share of misfortunes and betrayals, emerged from them half insane and on the way to becoming a demon. Ji Tan Yin, despite her kindness and compassion to everyone she meets, seems to have led a rather detached existence. Together, they end up changing each other for the better. Ji Tan Yin becomes Yuan Zhong's window into the beautiful parts of the world and life in general. He learns that life is not just suffering and there's beauty and kindness in the world worth cherishing. In turn, Yuan Zhong awakens deep feelings in Ji Tan Yin and provides an attachment to the world she has never really felt before, despite always feeling a deep affection for it.
While I sometimes wished the story was structured differently, for the most part I liked the progression of it. It went from light to dramatic nicely.
All in all, I ended up liking this very much, despite its flaws.
As you guys know, my sister doesn't watch cdrama , this is like her third so she is not familiar with the game…

Happy Ending? More like a hopeful, open ending.
The first episode was already a great start. There was drama, death and mayhem and two main characters with great potential.
Han Nv's story was such a waste of potential.
