watched about 10 seconds of the conversation between Si Ying and Demon God Tantai Jin and ended up turning it…
Agreed. They are clearly trying to reach the audience that doesn't like reading subs, but a robotic dub is not going to help in any way. It's taking away so much of the performance and quality of the drama. I'm afraid they have achieved the opposite of what they set out to do.

watched about 10 seconds of the conversation between Si Ying and Demon God Tantai Jin and ended up turning it off and laughing for a few minutes. I'm not sure what they were going for, but this is clearly not it. I don't like watching things dubbed into another language to begin with, but this is on another level. It's horrendous.
What are your thoughts about these? Why #TillTheEndOfTheMoon and #LuoYunxi got so many haters.https://twitter.com/tantaijin_kun/status/1663135024529526786?t=MywLlZgR3mjW-9YeOQUhmg&s=19
I must admit I don't really pay a lot of attention to such comments without any basis. There are just some people who like to be mean just for the sake of being mean. I also never really given any attention to haters of a particular celebrity and the things they say, because I never understood the need to hate someone without any basis for that hate. If you don't like a particular actor or actress just don't watch their work and move on. Why put all that energy into hating someone and doing all kinds of unnecessary things? I can't imagine people like that lead happy lives.
It's an unfortunate thing that whenever someone or something becomes really popular, there are always people who want to tear it down. That's just the world we live in.
Fortunately, there are always people like us who watch without prejudice and judge based on the quality of the final product and the talent of the people involved. Judging by the popularity of both the drama and Luo Yun Xi, we seem to be in the majority.
For the most part I liked this drama, but it had some flaws that kept it from being great. It would have definitely benefited from a more focused plot. That would have made this drama shorter, less draggy and would have eliminated unnecessary and annoying characters.
One of these unnecessary characters was Bai Feng, who with all the things that she did in the drama, didn't really make any noticeable impact on the actual plot. She only served as an annoying nemesis for the FL, but in the end the plot would not have suffered without her in it.
Another similarly unnecessary character was A Fu Jun. He did a lot of bad things that on the surface seem like they moved the plot along, but in the end cutting him out would not have made too much of a difference. His storyline with Luo Ning was also just a diversion from the main plot and even though it was interesting and at times cute, for the most part just was a very unhealthy relationship that I couldn't root for.
Another issue I had with this drama was the fact that people were just forgiven too easily. Where were the consequences of their actions? It's all nice and sweet, but unfortunately not very satisfying.
I did like the relationship between Luo Ge, Liu Shao and He Na. They had a very strong friendship, despite the fact that it easily could have turned ugly.
Zhang Bin Bin did a great job portraying all the different characters he was given. There was a clear difference between all of them and all of them had their own charm.
Gentle characters like He Na can easily become boring, but he remained one of my favourites throughout the drama. He was definitely not perfect. His biggest weakness being his love for his brother and therefore tolerance of all his mistakes.
Liu Shao shined in the cute and carefree parts of the drama. The character did suffer from the draggy plot. It made her indecisive sometimes.
I'm not really sure why we were given two different endings. Especially since episode 40 just seemed very rushed and not as well put together as episode 39. I suppose they wanted to show an actual grand final battle between Liu Shao and the evil spirit, which didn't really happen in episode 39 and give people an alternate ending and let us choose which one we prefer.

Look at them reminiscing about the fact that Love is Sweet was their peaceful drama

The actual scene is so heartbreaking, but the two of them practicing it is just too adorable.
