I love the novel, so this drama is definitely going on my to watch list. I hope they come out with the official cast soon and I really hope that they cast it appropriately.

It would be great to see Wu Lei and Jiang Yi Yi as they both look young enough to pull off the roles (the characters are teenagers) I love Wu Lei in historical dramas as he fits those roles and his acting is good. I've only ever seen Jiang Yi Yi once in a small role, but she seemed very lively on screen. Whether she will be able to pull off the character of a mature woman in the body of a teenager remains to be seen, but we'll only find out once the drama comes out.

Started watching this one. I'm only 3 episodes in and even though most of it was pretty much just character introductions, I'm loving it. The characters are interesting and very distinctive, so even though we got introduced to a lot of them in a short amount of time, they're recognizable and memorable. Not really sure where the stroy is going yet, but I'm definitely here for the ride.

Ok, all done. Very good. I like the romance, and that little bit of comedy sprinkled in there. So, in the last…
As far as I understand, she was never absorbed into the Soul Lamp, because it was taken away by the Jade Deity. Instead, most of her soul dissipated and only a small part latched on to the coriander plant. It took her thousands of years and the blessing from Qing Heng to cultivate a human form again.

The reason the twin flower spirit had to enter the body of mortals in the first place, was because they were almost destroyed. I think it's similar as to what happened with Su Zhi. The flower was almost dissipated, but thousands of years later, it was strong enough to enter the human body and become stronger. It's possible that it was always meant to take on human form, but wasn't given the chance. As for how they will look, once the spirit entered their bodies when they were babies, it could've dictated their looks, so once they take a human shape again, they will look the same and essentially be the same person. Obviously, this is just what I think, so it would be wrong.

Exactly. That's what worked in this drama so well. All the choices the characters made, no matter how tragic or wrong, made sense. It was easy to understand why they did wha they did.

The second couple in Miss the Dragon was indeed what kept me going. If not for them and my stubbornness, I would have dropped the drama.

That's possible, but I don't think it was likely. Even if their powers were never awakened, she still had the goal of reviving her clan and would have found out they were all wiped out. I think the last straw may have been the fact that she found out that the souls of her tribe were destroyed and she basically spent all those years trying to revive them for nothing. On top of that Ye Tan chose not to kill the Heavenly Emperor, essentially denying her revenge.

I had the same idea. Although I'm a little hesitant, because the novel isn't finished.

I guess it's still fun to spend time with the characters.

She definitely had one of the saddest stories. The trauma that she experienced was too great. It fractured her mind and she could not move on. When a person is so broken that they chose to have the world end just to end their pain, there's no going back. It was too bad. Qing Heng might have helped her heal, but she was too far gone.

Oh no, I would not want to live in the world where the two psychopath end up together. With the power they had, the world would not be worth living in. I do agree, however, that they are match .

Man Man was such a bright spot in this drama.

To be honest I have only seen Dylan in Miss the Dragon and LBFAD. Miss the Dragon wasn't a very good drama in my opinion, but he was not too bad in it. He did do a great job portraying DFQC. I guess there's no way of knowing whether he would have done a good job playing YQ and the other way around, because we'll never get to see it. Either way, it all worked out great.

I wish we had seen them return too. The ending is by no means unsatisfying, but feels a bit incomplete

Well, they didn't actually show them take human form, but based on what the Rain Deity said, they would regain their human form after Yetan was nourished with Chao Feng's blood and Qing Kui with You Qin's. So even though we didn't get to see them regain their human form, they certainly will.

Ep 33Man Man nooooooo ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ’”. That is even more heartbreaking once Iโ€™ve seen the whole episode ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ.…
This is what I've been saying since Ding Yun died as well. She is so hellbent on pointing fingers, but they were there to kill the soul shards and in the process almost killed other innocent people. She's a psychopath. She only ever feels her own pain, but can't imagine the pain of others.

I wish they didn't have to kill off Man Man though. That scene was so heartbreaking.

Well, there have been some rumours, so I would say don't get your hopes up. But I would really like to see a special episode of all of them living their happy lives.
