I'm not downplaying the scandalousness (😆 is that a word), but no one should be happy with a lukewarm, watered down version of what could have been a pretty good "against all odds" type of romance.

Then why be in a relationship with him much less agree to marry him? It makes no sense, so we either have:
1. Bad acting (I'm not buying this)
2. Bad writing and the director is going along with it.
3. There is a reason for it that we haven't been shown yet.

I've rooted for them because I like the actor playing DS...but
I can't ignore the fact that she acts uncomfortable with him.

She showed more passion with him before they got together.

If this is the way she is going to be, then they shouldn't be together and maybe should just stay friends. (I really hate saying this.)

I understand what you are saying, but don't you think that because they have a "complicated" relationship that would be even more reason to show some chemistry/passion? They are risking a lot to be together, they were willing to live with those risks and accept the consequences, so why can't they show it when
they interact together?

Do they look like a couple that says "I'm willing to accept estrangement from my family because I love you so much!!" OR "I'm willing to risk my professional reputation and my family's disapproval because I love you so much!!"

I'm disappointed as well. I didn't like SeRi and Beom as a couple and this is the reason why, but if there had been some chemistry there, then maybe I might have felt differently.

What about the director? Or is that the Producer in kdramas? Normally, the director is responsible for interpreting what is written.

How rushed can they be when they are already filming the scene? It's not going to take any more time to hug someone with some degree of emotion than it does to hug someone in an awkward manner. It's not like the actors have never hugged anyone before.

It may seem minor, but you are right that something seems off.
They should all be professional and do their job. If your personal circumstances prevent you from fully playing the role, then you shouldn't have accepted the role.

If the actors are playing the characters as written/directed, then different story...and I don't have any explanation.

Seri is the main one that is awkward with everyone, but GS and DS are not much better.

You may be right about the degree of punishment, but I think the hit to the company image may be enough to put them out of business.

I've been binge watching and finally caught up!

My thoughts:
Stella and Lucia need to up their revenge game. They won't last long with the way things are going. But obviously they will last, so why the sloppiness with Lucia giving herself away (almost) to Seon Jae? (the clinched fist scene in the parking lot) Just to add tension/ suspense? You would think she would have been better prepared.

I also find it hard to believe that Stella doesn't know EVERYTHING about the Min family.

As I mentioned in an earlier reply, I think Yeon Ha has her own agenda/revenge plan.

Seon Jae jumping on the 2 "tells" from Lucia is also kinda sorta stupid to me.
- just because she puts the flatware on the left doesnt prove that she knows he's left-handed. As someone else mentioned...it's the closest side to her. She wouldn't climb over him to put it on his right side.
- who wouldn't grab for someone if it looked like they were going to jump off the roof? It doesn't prove that Lucia is who he thinks she
is.

Seri...it's hard for me to even look at her. Kudos to the actor for making me hate her.
The comment that "she has matured and grown out of her bad behavior" was an outragious statement.

Ridiculous Moment
When SeRi met her fake mom...and the mom says she doesn't know who the father is
because she had a one night stand. Then SeRi asks "Did you love him?" 🤣

I'm interested to find out TaeJoo's (?) story.

As much as Chairman Min is an awful person, I am enjoying the interaction between him and Lucia. She's playing him the right way...I think.

Again, as I stated earlier, I'm loving the comic relief from Ji Seop's FIL ( the MIL is not bad
either).

While it may not seem like it from my comments, I am enjoying this so far...very suspenseful.

Last but not least, it hurts to think about what Seol Hui went through with Mi So and the fact that something like that can happen in real life.
