I had to put the other drama I was watching on hold cause it just couldn't live up to this drama I am so glad it got a rating of 9.4 it's such a masterpiece

Finally someone who saw what I saw it was clear they wouldn't end up together. Gwan Sik didn't need guidance from someone to turn around from the table and give his child peas he was fully aware he was rebelling but he cared more about the family he made more than the judgment he will face whereas Yeong Beom is hesistant to defend her even during the parallel scene of the food, Gwan Sik is the one one who urges him to stand up. Mind you Yeong Beom's mother was much crueler than Gwan Sik's mother. Geum Myeong would have had a really hard life if she ended up marrying into that family which would be a pity for her parents sacrifices for her.
