Hello! Thanks for visiting my profile! A true drama/film reviews itself. I contribute actively to my supporting role as a list-maker enthusiast, collector of existential quotes, aspiring completist, and musing about Zhang Ziyi. I first rediscovered asian dramas back in 2009 but I've been a fan since my preteen years. My interest peaked when I studied Asian martial arts and languages. |
- Mostly into Japanese, Chinese, and Korean dramas/films, but I’m open to any foreign content as long as it has subtitles. I also watch Western TV shows occasionally, depending on my mood.
- Hobbies/Interest: stargazing, interior design, reading, dancing, thrifting, coding, photography, winter sports, hiking, cafe hopping, rainy days, night cruising, drumming, and listening to alt/progressive rock music.
- Currently on a semi-hiatus from exclusively watching asian dramas, films, and anime.

Disclaimer: I've never been one to conform to conventional rating system but I’m making an exception for old times’ sake. If I’ve rated something below a 4, it’s in cringeworthy territory, definitely not worth your time. Just drop it like it’s HOTTTT! My evaluations reflect a balance between what I would’ve liked when I was younger and what I’m into now as an adult.
I hardly ever re-rate and my reviews do tend to be rather verbose, but whatever. I watch everything at 2x speed anyway, because my ADHD kicks in after episode two. So, don’t put too much trust in my ratings—or anyone else’s for that matter! I don’t rate based solely on "enjoyment" it’s a mix of direction, cinematography, pacing, character development, and whatever else grabs my attention.
I’m considering switching to a more personalized rating system since numbers don’t tell the full story. But for now, I’ll keep it simple. My recommendations are thoughtfully curated, so feel free to ask or browse through my extensive list here! |
