Exactly! Totally understand nostalgia for it and the historic impact, but the weird pro-hazing messaging bit really threw me. Nothing against KristSingto (I thought ex-morning was super fun!), this is just a show that's a product of it's time

Yeah you're right, the theming around it was present but I just felt like the plotline of the Naga wasn't properly introduced I suppose. Like I was all invested in their training in the beginning and I just felt like the whole mythical beast situation was out of place here. I wish they either made an entire show based more on the mythical elements or the detective elements separately instead of trying to do both in one show because I feel like with more time to explore one of these elements it would've been even better!
