If you're talking about Ajumma and Ajussi, they aren't being rude they're being respectful. Literal translation is pretty much old man/woman, and subs put that a lot, but it's used more like Sir/Ma'am

all they do is split the ratings and viewership up. There's no pros to separating them at all imho

This is what's getting me too lol. It's not even just them stealing the ideas, they're literally using the exact same presentations and speeches. How many times do things have to be exactly like other companies before it's just blatant corporate espionage.

I also get the whole "It'll look like we copied them" thing at the bid event, but the whole assuming the first person that presented it was the original creator is so overused in shows

made it through ep 10 and at first even though Luke is a grade A asshole I liked the story, but him being even worse to her after they get together than before and the constant heartbreak he puts her through I just can't any more

I was laughing at that romantic "fall in love while it's snowing" scene. Like, they're literally trapped in a house in the middle of nowhere without power and low on food. The last thing they could possibly want is more snow lmao.

It would have been romantic normally, but in that instance, not so much imo

Their romance isn't the focus of the story, but it is really really good. They both love eo and their daughter and the whole family dynamic is really cute. But the bigger focus of the show is her job and her bouncing between assassin and mom/wife

I'm watching ep 6 now and honestly, Dr An just sucks. He's so self absorbed

The only thing that's similar is the amnesia plot and him faking being her bf at the start. Other than that, they're completely different

It's also so annoying at this point that Runch is just completely blind to it STILL, even after Neen has told her point blank that her mom is the problem repeatedly. Even with everything that has happened, she refuses to look at her mom even remotely objectively

will I miss anything of consequence if I just skip to there? I legit don't think I can take another 3 full eps at this pace to get to the good part

I'm through ep 7 as of now and it's honestly just boring to me. The clips I've seen are from the adult era, but so far for me they've only been adults for about 15 minutes in ep 1

It's really just Taken meet John Wick, KDrama edition lol. I completely agree with you, it's a really fun watch, well done and deserves the hype, but it's not thought provoking, or even trying to be imo

It's really good. There's so much competition this year in the GL sphere, but I will confidently still say it's one of the better ones so far this year

same! I was meh about trying this due to the story, but it being in universe with LBD and how good LBD turned out made me actually anticipate this show

From the second they introduced Neung, it was obvious from how she looked at OonFun and stuff that she was debating asking them to adopt the baby, I really didn't see them actually killing her off at all and to me at least that was just a bad way to advance the story. OonFun absolutely would have accepted adopting the kid to begin with if she asked, so why make it where they "have" to take guardianship and make his birth, and future birthdays bittersweet for all of them when it added nothing at all to the story?

it's a vertical so the eps will likely be 2-5 minutes long each. Whole show will probably be about movie length
