Yeah they are doing a really good job acting in both personalities. I'm really happy that we have 3 full eps of them being themselves so they can showcase their abilities and we can actually appreciate them being "themselves" and not just have a last minute switch where it's just a line or 2 of them being "them"

He might be alive at the end of the show, but he's definitely dying unless it's a misdiagnosis. Amyloidosis is terminal and there's no cure. It's really just a matter of if he lives to the end of the show or not with that diagnosis
First episode was cute, but NGL I avoid people with Rin's attitude like the plague. I can't stand people that act so superior to everyone around them and everything out of their mouth is demeaning or condescending. I'm going to keep watching, and I'm excited for her character growth but she's honestly already nearing my last nerve
I don't know why, they don't really look or even act alike, but for some reason Tertis reminds me of Twice's Mina? A lot of the times she's on screen, I see 0 resemblance, but there's other times where she comes on and I immediately picture Mina lol. Might just be me, but curious if anyone else sees it or knows what it is
Definitely going to watch it. I just like watching from official channels whenever possible. I want to support the artists however I can so if my view can count, I'd prefer that
They're releasing it on YouTube 10/8. It's only airing on Channel 3 today

TLDR, No it's not a masterpiece, but it's way better than most of the GLs that came out this year.
I don't think this was "The greatest show ever" but compared to a lot of other GLs I've watched this year, it was really well done imo. I'll use your 4 points.
1 Acting... Yes, the acting was a little lacking, but it's actually the very first credit of 2 of the mains, the only one with prior experience is the one you didn't have a problem with. Shelly and Pundao were good enough to be believable, and have the talent to become great with experience.
2 Chemistry... ShellyPundao chemistry is OUTSTANDING. They have some of the best chemistry out of all the love teams. There's more famous couples that have less chemistry together than them. Even with Neko, Shelly has good sister chemistry with her and Pundao has good chemistry with her. I could easily see Pundao and Neko being a love team if Shelly wasn't in the picture.
3 Storytelling.... I really like this story and didn't notice any major discrepancies. I didn't read the novel, but haven't seen any "This isn't like the novel!!!" posts, so I'm assuming it was pretty true to the source material. The story was pretty consistent pacing and plot wise all throughout, so I don't see how there is an issue here. Someone can not like the story, but it doesn't mean they didn't do a good job with the storytelling.
4 Production... The production was well above average for the GLs that I've seen this year. It absolutely wasn't perfect, and yeah there were a lot of slomo scenes, but there was way less than some other shows. There also weren't any glaring continuity errors or ridiculously extreme edits, lighting, etc that I could see.
And I dont give a shit about any awards shows. I've never seen or even looked at the winners of Thai ones, but in America, it's not just the People's Choice awards that are popularity contests. Grammys, Oscars, Emmys, all of them are popularity contests and mean nothing, the only difference between them is who it's popular with. There's movies that only 1 in 10 people have seen, and that one person usually thinks it was meh at best but it wins a ridiculous amount of awards because it checks all the boxes for the judges of that award show. I don't think awards mean as much to the general populace as they used to. Real life audience ratings and reviews are held to a higher standard than critics anymore
I love it when people like Mai's attitude and promiscuity come back to bite them. It's the first step in them actually changing and tbh, she deserves to be hurt by Fon at least a little bit after all the times she hurt Fon. I think once they become serious though, they are gonna be cute af together. I see them being just as clingy as Rey and Print, but with a more mature and serious vibe surrounding their clinginess.
And my God can Linn wear a suit. She looks hot as hell in that suit

Exactly this. I never rate anything until I either finish or drop a show. Either way, it's rated when I'm done with the show. And I'm sure I'm not alone in this, I know a lot of people that do the same thing.
The rating is literally just an average of all the ratings given to the show, so when you saw the 7.7 rating, there was probably only 100-200 ratings and you saw it at a time where the haters of one (or more) of the mains came and rating bombed. Now that there's over 1000 ratings and has been airing for a while, it is going to start to flatline into a more realistic rating. Realistically most shows, especially ones with major names like Lusi, only 50-60% of the reviews are real. There's always going to be the haters that give anything she does a 1 even if it's a masterpiece, and the diehards that will give anything she does a 10, even if it's utter trash. There's usually 20-25% on each side of the spectrum.
That doesn't apply only to MDL, or even dramas, that's just ratings in a nutshell
