FL is beyond ridiculous. How can she use love as a reason to withdraw consent, guess what contract will be invalid…
There's more nuance to that though. I agree with what your saying generally, and am still watching ep 6 so this might change once they actually get further into the case, but her consent can still be considered coerced if she felt she had to sign the paper in order to hold on to him. She also absolutely without question didn't consent to being scarred, possibly for life.
Yeah, the scarring and abuse happened during sex, but to give you another angle to look at it, if a woman is being beaten by her husband who made her sign a paper for itand she just lets it go because she loves him and is scared of any retribution, is that actually consent? The unequivocal answer is no, it's not. Just because it's bedroom games doesn't change that.
Also, there is a whole thing for cancelling a marriage if you can prove there wasn't consent, annulment. It's not even a divorce, it's legally saying you were never married to begin with because it wasn't a true marriage
Just finished ep 5, and making her an art prodigy that can hide portraits inside of the art itself never in a million years would I have come up with. It was a unique way to prove the art was hers, and also a tear jerking twist.
This show is doing an amazing job adding emotions into the cases on top of actually making the cases interesting. I actually feel a vested interest in the outcome of each case before the episode is over. Usually, law dramas don't do that for me, I might find the case interesting, but I'm almost never emotionally invested in the outcome
Fr, Yam treated it like it was cute when it could be serious and then she really left G out in a vulnerable state…
Yeah it was crazy, they just explained it away in the next scene like "You should have said you took a sleeping pill" Like, bitch, you didn't see her take one. Yeah, that's what happened, but her passing out like that could be all kinds of serious medical issues lol. If I didn't see someone take a sleeping pill and they passed out like that, I'm 100% calling an ambulance, would never even cross my mind that they took a pill to pass out like that
If someone passes out on me like G did to Yam, I'm not just going to let them sleep it off all night sitting on the floor lmao. The way she passed out definitely warranted calling an ambulance. Then she just leaves her there still passed out in the hallway in the morning? Like, WTF are you thinking? lol
The kiss on the rooftop was very overhyped by them, and very not LingOrm imo. I can't even really call that a kiss, it was more they just leaned in until they're lips touched for an extended period. It's really sad since I know these 2 can really kiss, like to the point that you need a cold shower after the fact.
Plot wise it doesn't even make sense, like yeah, it's their first kiss but they both have had pent up attraction and yearning for over 8 years. If ever there should have been an explosive first kiss, this show was the prime candidate for it. Out of every LingOrm kiss I've seen, this one ranks the lowest by far
How many names do you have? 😂So ridiculous 🤡💀
I'm guessing this was that Concrete Lotus person? They are literally the first and only person I've blocked on this site. They've take rabid fanaticism to a whole new level where any criticism towards this show becomes a ridiculous back and forth with nothing but insults
NGL every time I see Ling Ling, the more convinced I am that she is the most beautiful person I've ever seen. She's just so ridiculously pretty that I wouldn't believe it without seeing her
Why cant people take them as a love team with friendly bond and enjoy the work and their fan service? Do we need…
This is my point lol, I'm not criticizing her at all, the huge amounts of hate she gets is honestly just confusing to me and seems completely undeserved
Tonnam was right to leave imo. Them moving in with Chom's mother was a horrible idea to start with, and the 2 drastic 180s in her moms attitude towards Tonnam would be like whiplash.
I'm happy that Chom is finally actually fighting for Tonnam, but they really need some space to deal with the issues they have instead of trying to force it.
Also, buying every single ad spot in the area just to prove a point to Wan is next level petty behavior from Maewnams mother lol
Well some people still can't accept that playing in GL doesn't mean she's lesbian so they get mad
I honestly don't even know if that's actually the reason, it's just the only thing I can think of that seperates her from all the other big names in the GL space. It's an absolutely stupid reason if it is why. Artists should be judged on their talents, not their personal lives. I'd be willing to bet that almost every, if not every, love pair aren't actually dating irl. Extremely close friends? Of course. Actually in love? Probably very few
I've seen comments on like everything hating on Love, and I don't get it? Like, she's pretty, an above average actress, has good chemistry with Milk, and they look cute together. I don't get why she seems to get so much more hate than any of the other main GL actresses. Is it just because she had the "audacity" to come out and say she was dating a guy?
this may have just gone over my head or smth but i was curious if anyone knew the timeline of the show, like did…
Everything is happening quickly, but I"d say it's been more than a week. If I were to guess, the timelines been about a month. IIRC, there was like a week or a little less between the meeting where Mae made the proposal everyone agreed with and the actual bidding event that happened in ep 3. The announcement where they (re)met each other was like a week or 2 before that first meeting at least
No the stress was in high school, looks like going to law school was her own decision after she helped her friend's…
It was stated later in the episode that she skipped 2 grades, got overly stressed and failed her senior year twice. so she graduated HS at the normal age, but actually was held back 2 years. Those 2 years offset the 2 years in primary school she skipped
How did she get out of misrepresenting herself as an attorney when they confronted her friend's former employer?Based…
She dressed older than her age and he fell for it. I'm 99% sure that SK has laws about that, but she was a teenager that didn't give a shit and knew the law enough to help her friend out. She got away with it by literally scaring the owner into doing the right thing way before it ever got to court. He just assumed that they hired a hotshot young attorney to take the case, got scared and settled with her friends dad. No judge or anyone that would check her credentials came close to that "case"
From the pro-choice camp. It's ultimately her choice but I think it's also something she should have talked to…
Again, ignorant male here, and this is a legitimate question, not trying to be mean in the least. but isn't it pretty common to be 6-9 weeks in before you even know? I really only know from media and they usually don't even check in shows and movies until they are a week or 2 late, and my understanding is it's roughly 30sh days for cycles, so wouldn't that usually take you out of the medicinal window before you even know normally?
