Interesting that wife attacked Ha Sang Gi as the lawyer but it’s setting up his backstory for us. That husband…
The issue is he didn't even want to name the kids. Sang Gi talked him into it because it's then a bigger payday. I think the case is actually painting Sang Gi in the worst light out of all the parties. Yeah, the husband shouldn't be suing her just because he's in pain and wants to take it out on someone; and yeah, the wife is yelling and blaming everyone. But she made a very good point on how disgusting it is that he named 2 children under 10 as defendants and imo that's the most despicable part of the entire case, which was entirely Sang Gi's idea
Omg, I was soo glued on this ep. that I didn't realise the ep. ending. Okay, my Hui Ji has a major major crush…
I could be wrong, but I think Mun Jeong is not pregnant and was sad that she wasn't. Probably one of those not trying, being late and getting used to and into the idea of being pregnant, then finding out you're just late. I was actually focusing on it and I only saw one line on the test strip when she spun it
Very different legal system than here in the states! I’m always intrigued as to how they handle cases. Also…
AFAIK, civil cases in the US are usually done with just the judge. You can request a jury, but I think the court fees of it are on you. The only time you are guaranteed a jury trial is if it is a criminal case
Viki is bad about not updating the available shows in the app without first closing, then reopening the app. It could have been that as well. Refreshing, or watching something else on Viki in the meantime doesn't always populate the new releases
It's very weird to me that the actual plaintiff and defendants rarely have to go to court as long as they have a lawyer. It's still their life/money/etc that's being argued and ruled upon, so I would want to be there regardless, and I think it should be required that you're there if you're named
well it’s the writing, the nurse says he still needs to go to the hospital but then he takes a handful of painkillers…
I mean, it makes sense that he's repeatedly doing heavy blows to DongJu's head. He's literally trying to kill him and even without DongJu being punch drunk and concussed, that's still the best way to kill someone in a fist fight. He's just using DJ's weakness to his advantage.
I'm not excusing the coach, I'm just saying him using that knowledge makes sense since it's his goal to actually kill him
I would’ve agreed with you if people were hating on it in initial eps but after 13 eps I think people do have…
I agree with your point, but I'm closer to like the 3/4 mark of the drama is the point of no return. I enjoyed this drama at first, still liked it but was getting frustrated with it after ep 10, and it's progressively been getting more frustrating, and was really annoyed towards the end of 12 but I'm not going to stop watching it entirely since there isn't that much left of the show. I might just pause the eps a couple times to do something else and come back to it
So a rich guy decides unilaterally that he wants a divorce, agrees not to get a lawyer, ignores that agreement and the entire issue is he doesn't want to give her $15K US? I wouldn't want to be his lawyer either lol. That dude is pure scum
it’s a live cartoon. it’s all in the intro sequence, music choices, shot choices, crazy antics… it’s not…
True that the plot styles were different, I was just thinking along the lines of it being a live action cartoon. In Study Group, at least to me, the suspension of disbelief and the over the top-ness of the show was entertaining and felt right. In this show, it's more frustrating to me than entertaining and feels off, if that makes sense
But how on earth did he turn into a fugitive when he was literally attacked and stabbed by multiple men in mask…
I actually had to pause it after that scene and watch YT for a bit. Guy covered in blood and running, obviously from something/someone, screaming for help gets stabbed by 2 different people in the middle of a busy street and they paint him as the bad guy? Give me a break. The level of turning a blind eye to Ju Yeong and his subordinates is way too extreme
Honestly surprised that it's ranked below 8 so far. I thought the first 2 eps were pretty good, and I'm enjoying this more than a couple other shows that are airing right now that are rated higher
I'm at the point where I just tune in whenever or watch this in the background. I'm so tired of watching Gummy…
I'm right there with you. This show is the most perfect example of plot armor I've ever seen, for both the heroes and the villains. It's also completely ridiculous how much power Ju Yeong has. There's the authorities looking the other way, then there's just absolute free reign to do w/e the hell you want to do with 0 repercussions. Like, you're telling me that with all the CCTV that's there, and obviously working since they are using it to paint Dong Ju in a bad light, none of them caught him literally being chased and stabbed?!?
This show has honestly gone way beyond ridiculous to me and it's really getting hard to watch without getting frustrated
I was going to change it, but honestly haven't seen any character in a show as adorable as she was since lol. Ki Joo came close in Undercover HS, and I probably would have changed it to Hui Yeon in Study Group, but she didn't have any scenes I thought would make a good gif lol
I know he's a criminal and all, but bald chubby dude gives them literally every single one of their leads. They should at least let him finish a meal every once in a while lol
i'm sure it's good but jesus the episodes are practically movie length, i hope it grabs my attention enough to…
Fair warning the first ep is kinda slow, at least imo. It took me a couple days to watch it and I actually almost gave up on it. From ep 2 on though, I was hooked and barely even paused it
I'm not excusing the coach, I'm just saying him using that knowledge makes sense since it's his goal to actually kill him
