They have many misunderstandings like the fl believes that he's dead while he's alive the whole time secondly the ml believes that fl and his brother has genuine feelings but actually the fl lead was usung him (bz she wants to get revenge from song lan for killing the crown prince) and lastly the ml believes that fl deliberately plan's to kill him before and she was a part of that whole scheme

Secondly first of all they didn't talk it out at first first few chapters the crown prince character actually wanted to kill the fl and make things hard for her many times

And lastly they maybe similar to mjty but they storyline and the past experiences of both character makes it totally different from mjty

Yeah i know i have seen him saying this in many interviews

Ok I'll explain in china most of that dramas are always a major hit are always based on fl-centric stories

Secondly the dramas he has done even though mostly are fl-centric but still extremely good storyline which make it different from other dramas

Lastly not a spoiler this drama revenge or ci tang is based more on linghe character and it's not fl-centric drama

I been a fan of zhang linghe since my journey to you every role given to this actor is like this i mean i wish he could try something different as well . from kunning palace,pursuit of jade, overdo as well as his upcoming another drama the road to glory is the same filled with violence and cunning character now this is the same i have read this novel its filled with so much misunderstanding concepts and his character is extremely cunning and lowkey like the character he played in kunning palace but much horrific idk but this character can literally give you goosebumps every sec and biggest yearning character and the storyline is insane its going to be a major hit but anyways i always wanted yu xiao and linghe to work together im so excited but i really really want zhang linghe to work in other type of characters as well he's extremely talented i hope next year we will see some different type of genre or character

Sadly it wasn't what we wanted i meant the ending!!! 😔

So in my conclusion i think the ending was highly based on murong qingyi last moments where he wished that the thing's were different that we saw in ep 33 whjch is really sad honesty i think his character was really pitiful but anyway i also really doesn't like the female lead ren susu (no hates to wang churan i love her) she was more like a mission based character sometimesi feel she doesn't even care about qingyi feeling but anyway i really need some time to recover from this drama for me the ending was like

Guys we have waited for this drama so much finally now its dropped only based on first 5 episodes we should not judge it i personally think acting and story line are incredibly good episode 1 cinematography and ai intro i personally doesn't like it but episode 2-5 were much better most of the republican cdrama are like this but overdo doesn't has that cheap or short republican era cdrama vibe but instead good storyline, cinematography, and plots can't wait for the next episodes!! ^_^

Novel is pretty dark thankfully they make changes in drama
