honestly I love this show ...the first 5 episodes were so good. The production value is there. The direction is really good. The acting is above average.
I just feel like writing a good crime plot is not easy. I had the same problem with "Manner of Death"
History Trapped was the most successful in my opinion to combine crime and BL romance in a show
If I'm hating it's only because I know this show has the potential to be so much better. I want them to do better. I am really rooting for them. FYI I loved "Secret Crush on You" their last project. I know they are able to be great. I'm just disappointed this week.
With this episode the crime was the focus. and I don't think it was executed well enough to carry this episode. Maybe that is why they thrown in the NC scene
Also I think I became heartless because I think SML has every right to be more than angry at ML and ML leaving school is the very least he could do. Forgiveness is nice an dandy but he didn't even try to earn it. Small gestures here and there don't change shit. I'm sorry but he fucked up majorly and as of now I didn't see him trying to make up (again gestures don't do shit)

For me the second couple gives me all the "Cherry blossoms after winter" vibes which is why I don't mind them at all.
However, to say people are "defending incest and pedophilia" when they are simply explaining why those two terms do not apply here is not really helpful.
I could also say "If u don't like the show just don't watch it, stop condemning the characters relationships (supposingly ) for literally no reason"
MDL commentators are a stubborn bunch lol ...and no one wants to be told "you are wrong if you don't see it my way"
Again it is completely valid for you to say you personally are uncomfortable with the setting, the characters and their realationships.
It's explained in the novel that Charlie absorbed his mom's ability, but lost it wen his mom died.
I see. But they phrased it differently or maybe I misunderstood. I believe Charlie said when he dies the power will return to the original owner and not that if the other person dies Charlie loses the power.
That is why I joked about how he could possibly know that and if he tried.
I can see why a certain contestant is so unlikeable. All this kumbaya and saving everyone is quite misplaced in a competition. Also there was no competitiveness in the group settings from that person.
For me the tipping point was when others were sacrificed for someone else.
There is nothing wrong in being compessioned. But this is a competition with only one winner

but now we're back at her being the selfish brat she always was because her life got minimal "harder"
