A GRIPPING DARK FANTASY THRILLER.....
"Judge from Hell" is a captivating fantasy dark thriller that takes viewers on an exhilarating journey through moral complexities and intense confrontations. The story centers around Justilia, a demon judge who finds herself on Earth as punishment, tasked with eliminating murderers before she can return to Hell. Taking over the body of Judge Kang BITNa, Justilia's mission unfolds in a gripping narrative that keeps audiences on the edge of their seats.
The plot is expertly paced, drawing viewers in with its engaging storyline. Justilia's interactions with Detective Han Danho, a man burdened by a tragic past yet committed to his principles, create a fascinating clash of personalities. Their contrasting views on justice add depth to the narrative, making it even more compelling and thought-provoking.
A standout feature of this drama is its morally grey female lead. Justilia is a badass character whose journey is both thrilling and reflective, challenging viewers to consider the nature of justice. The introduction of various victims, each with unique stories, allows for a diverse range of perpetrators to be punished, adding layers to the narrative. The punishments themselves are a highlight, executed in a tit-for-tat manner that is both satisfying and potentially violent. Watching the villains experience the same pain they inflicted on their victims, both psychologically and physically, is a gripping aspect of the story that keeps viewers engaged.
The casting is exceptional, not only with Park Shin Hye as Kang BITNa/Justilia, who delivers a performance that is nothing short of brilliant, but also with the male lead, whose portrayal is impressive for a first-time lead role. He truly owns his character, bringing depth and charisma to the screen. The guest roles for the various villains deserve special mention as well; the actors and actresses playing these despicable characters are so convincing that it makes their punishments feel even more deserved and exciting.
The acting throughout the series is strong, with every cast member showcasing their talent. Park Shin Hye shines with her facial expressions, cold smirks, and overall performance, making it clear that she is fully committed to this role. The male lead stands out in his own right, and the villains display amazing, believable acting that adds to the drama's intensity.
The handling of the romance in "Judge from Hell" is also commendable. Unlike many thrillers that struggle to balance romance with the main plot, this drama integrates the romantic elements seamlessly. The romance feels like a natural extension of the story, contributing to character development and moving the plot forward rather than detracting from it. The chemistry between the leads enhances this aspect, making their relationship a vital part of the narrative.
Despite its dark and serious themes, the show manages to insert moments of comedy, providing a nice balance. The background music and original soundtracks are catchy and enhance the viewing experience.
Overall, "Judge from Hell" is a drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat, with no boring episodes. It draws you in with its exceptional storytelling, diverse and interesting characters, amazing and flawless acting, and a perfectly paced storyline. This makes it one of the best fantasy thrillers this year, if not in a while.
When a ROMCOM romcoms the right way.....
No gain no love was my biggest surprise this year..having walked into it with little to no expectations Iam actually suprised by how much it grew on me....with every episode...it's actually rare but I had this excitement for it from the beginning to nearly the end..like that's how addicted I was to the series. No gain no love was the perfect blend of comedy and romance..it had this light hearted tone to it that was maintained till the end..even with serious topics discussed and with the Deep dialogue at times..the drama still maintained it light tone...
The story was told in a way where even cliches felt fresh..there were plenty of my favourite troupes like we had the fake marriage troupe that actually felt different in its execution, we got the enemies to lovers from the second couple, we got the office romance and more..all of these are something I've definitely seen before but no gain no love managed to make them fresh and actually entertaining for me to watch and enjoy wholeheartedly.
The characters in the show were written to be interesting and unique each in their own way..we had a female lead who was calculating considering her nature of suffering no losses, she was realistic, bold and ambitious and also spoke her mind..to some she might have been annoying but her character felt rather amazing to me....she stood out because of these qualities that gave her a personality.
The male lead was written to be calm quiet and unintentionally funny...and I must her was good at it.
The other characters like the second fl and second ml and more were also entertaining and added a charm to he series and i must say I appreciate how all had amazing comedic timing which fitted the overall vibe of the series.
The acting was good... depending on how the characters were written..I know many people have complaints about Kim youngdae but I enjoyed his subtle yet impactful acting especially when he expressed himself through his eyes....it's something I noticed maybe because I paid extra attention to him since I was being cautious and he did a great job on his own and besides his co stars Shin min Ah.
The chemistry between the couple was amazing too..these have to be the rare tendecies Where I actually enjoyed both couples on the show..and just couldn't choose who I loved more than the other..the main couple was cute and lovely and their interactions were heart warming and made me all giddy... despite the age gap that seemed to worry many these two managed to generate a comfortable vibe around them with their natural chemistry and interactions.
The second couple was amazing too just a bit under developed..but still entertaining...and I can't wait for their spin off drama series.
The other soul of this drama, something I really loved was the comedy direction...this drama was actually funny..I had a smile on my face the entire time I was watching it..as I said above Iam happy they maintained the light tone of the series regardless of how deep the plot got especially when they were discussing some serious topics...even with the serious topics you can see that they were handled in a way that was delicate and sensitive without breaking the light tone of the series.
The pacing was amazing.. perfect for the 12 EPISODES of the series.
Overall this drama is definitely added to me list of classic and beautifully written kdrama ROMCOMs
Do I recommend it?
Absolutely if you looking for something light engaging and entertaining.
High stakes, Big trouble
"Gold Land" follows Heejo, a woman whose life is upended when she receives smuggled gold from her boyfriend. The premise immediately sets high stakes as Heejo must protect the gold from those who want it, exploring themes of greed, desperation, and trust. The plot is intense, yet it successfully builds depth around Heejo's backstory, moving beyond a simple "amateur finds gold" scenario. We understand her origins and how they influence her reasoning and actions. While some viewers find her character's decisions questionable, her sudden acquisition of a large amount of gold, coupled with the need to hide it from pursuers, creates a situation where mistakes are inevitable. The narrative highlights her unpreparedness for this life, relying on luck and the assistance of others. Park Bo-young delivers a compelling performance as Heejo, and Kim Seog-chul shines as a morally ambiguous ally, whose ambition and different perspective make him a valuable, albeit untrustworthy, partner.
The supporting characters contribute significantly to the overall tension, and the story, while straightforward and easy to follow, incorporates a mix of predictable and surprising twists. "Gold Land" is an entertaining and somewhat intense watch, not quite a masterpiece, but certainly engaging.
A fun warm emotional relatable and nostalgic coming of age drama.
Wind direction is a coming of age generational drama about life, family, friendship, youth and more. The plot of the drama is an emotional rollercoaster, it's inspirational, engaging, educational and also nostalgic, heartwarming and relatable.
The characters in the show each have their own interesting emotional and relatable stories, the characters are written to be complex and each with their own personality..which easily gets you attached to them as the story goes by..their growth and development is also reflected in the story as it progresses.
The acting was amazing..each characters did well in that category...the subtle yet impactful acting also left an impact.
The dialogue of the drama is well thought out, it's inspirational, it's educational and relatable in a way that could help screen shot most of the beautiful written lines by the different characters.
The drama goes ahead and adds in some comedy and comic relief characters to help balance out the heaviness of the plot and I must I did have a good laugh in some of the scenes.
The drama depicts growth, it depicts family, friendship, struggles and set backs people face and how they lift themselves up after those struggles..the drama continues to educate us on the different frames of life...it shows friendships, and sacrifices and more...
This was a show that unexpectedly touched me by how NOSTALGIC it was..reminding me of the good old days, it felt at home, it felt relatable and it was melancholic and emotional in a way that I felt connected to the story and it's characters as the show progressed.
Do I recommend it?
ABSOLUTELY! if you looking for a well written, relatable, nostalgic and fun story about your family friendship and more then you should give this a try...I promise you won't regret.
I learnt alot from this drama and I felt comforted by its story, characters and dialogues..this must as well be one of my most favourite dramas this year!!!
WARNING: Prepare a box of tissues for the last couple of episodes... because they were one big roller coaster 🥺
A Ghostly guide to workplace justice: Why you should watch Oh my ghost clients!
"Oh My Ghost Clients" is a quirky and humorous drama yet deep and relatable drama that follows a labor attorney who, after a near-death experience, makes a deal with a deity. The contract? He must help settle the grudges of ghosts wronged at work, aiding them in moving on.
While the premise isn't entirely new, echoing shows like "Move to Heaven" and "Hotel Del Luna," the writer masterfully crafts a unique experience.
The show excels in its blend of emotion and depth, the engaging dynamics between the trio of characters, and the impeccable comedic timing. The episodic format and pacing further enhance the viewing experience, complemented by outstanding acting.
"It's refreshing to see a series tackle workplace harassment and abuse head-on. While these issues often appear in subplots, this show dedicates itself entirely to them, with each episode, or sometimes every two, focusing on a new case. The premise is compelling: a labor attorney and his team help ghost employees, haunted by unfair treatment or abuse, find justice and closure.
What really sets this show apart is its incorporation of legal elements. They are well-executed, walking you through the legal processes, and the show's use of different articles adds a unique charm. Each story is emotionally impactful, largely due to the relatable characters and their experiences.
If this is propaganda, then count me in!
This actually has potential for a season two..they wrapped it all up nicely but you could tell there is room to work on more cases...and more fun with the trio and the ghost clients so I hope they consider making one.
I hope more people discover this show. It's not a new concept, but it's undeniably worth watching. The engaging storyline, the moments of humor, and the relatability all contribute to its depth. With compelling characters and excellent character development, it's a show that keeps you hooked. The dialogue is well-crafted, adding another layer of quality. Give this show a chance – you won't regret it."
DEFINETLY ADDED TO MY LIST OF CLASSIC KDRAMA THRILLERS.
"Black Out is a classic K-drama thriller that captivates from start to finish. The story revolves around a man who is falsely accused of murdering two of his friends. Despite his claims of innocence and a lack of memory regarding the events, the evidence leads to his conviction, resulting in a ten-year prison sentence. Upon his release, he faces the harsh negativity and suspicion from the people in his village, which drives him to seek the truth and clear his name.
What stands out about 'Black Out' is its exceptional writing. It skillfully combines intense thrills with emotional depth, keeping viewers on the edge of their seats while also tugging at their heartstrings. The narrative unfolds gradually, revealing critical information piece by piece, which only heightens the excitement as the story progresses. The pacing of the story is decent—not too rushed and not too slow—allowing everything to be revealed without leaving anything out.
The acting in 'Black Out' is nothing short of amazing. Byun Yohan, in particular, delivers a powerful performance, showcasing a wide range of emotions that truly resonate with the audience. The female lead also won me over with her acting; the character she portrayed suited her perfectly. The supporting characters, including the detective and various villagers, contribute significantly to the story, even if some are intentionally irritable and may make your blood boil. Each did well in their roles as they were written.
The ending felt like therapy after the roller coaster of emotions this drama put me through..I had tears in my eyes the entire time...it was all worthwhile!
Overall, 'Black Out' was an interesting thriller and mystery drama that kept me at the edge of my seat as I waited for the story to unfold. Prepare some stress-free pills on the side because the characters, minus the male lead and the detective, are sure to test your patience. Do I recommend 'Black Out'? Definitely! It's a classic, and I would add it to the corner of my favorite K-drama thrillers right next to 'Mouse,' 'King of Pigs,' 'Big Mouth,' 'Beyond Evil,' 'Flower of Evil,' 'Signal,' and more."
Lin yingtaos journey of love friendship family first love and more....
The series centers around the effervescent Cherry (Lin yingtao), a beacon of positivity who brightens the lives of those around her. Her path intertwines with Jiang Xiaoqi, a young man navigating a complex family situation, and their connection adds a vibrant layer to his world.
"While perhaps not reinventing the wheel, this coming-of-age drama, centered on Ling Yitao's journey from youth to adulthood, still manages to feel refreshing.
Zhao Jinmai shines as Cherry, perfectly embodying her character's spirit, while Zhang Linghe delivers a compelling performance, especially through his expressive acting.
The series explores her relationships ( Family friendships and more ) particularly with Jiang Xiaoqi, whose limited screen time may frustrate some. However, his appearances are impactful, and the storytelling ultimately benefits.
The slow-burn romance between the leads, though facing setbacks, allows for genuine character development. Their eventual connection, after both characters address personal struggles, feels earned, even if somewhat idealistic. Ling Yitao's unwavering loyalty and capacity for love, shaped by her upbringing, are central to the narrative.
Ultimately, the show's strength lies in its characters and the undeniable chemistry between the leads. I highly recommend giving it a watch to experience it for yourself.
They are friends soulmates enemies and everything in-between....
This show offers a refreshing take on friendship, depicting a relationship far from flawless. It's a complex portrayal, brimming with envy, jealousy, and insecurity the kind where love and hate intertwine, and codependency reigns. These messy, often unhealthy dynamics are realistically explored, making it difficult to look away. The performances, particularly by Kim Go Eun and Park Ji Hyun, are outstanding, capturing the raw, unfiltered essence of the characters. The show doesn't shy away from the gray areas of human nature, and the characters are complex, yet strangely relatable.
While the pacing may be deliberate, the story's impact lingers long after the credits roll. Approach it with an open mind.
Fun and easy to watch!
This show for me feels like a sitcom, unhinged over the top comedy, fun interactions between the characters with different scenarios in none chronologically arranged episodes. If follows the story of an idol turned actor who faces critism for his acting, he auditions for a role in a musical theatre troupe to improve on his skills.
The story follows his growth and interactions with the rest of the members as well as his romance with the director who he actually has incredible chemistry with.
like I said it's a fun show, no groundbreaking masterpiece but in its category it's interesting.
A try is better than a loss and certainly close to a win.
"The Winning Try" is an inspirational sports drama that scores big on heart and grit. The story follows a former rugby player, once shamed by a doping scandal, who finds redemption as a high school coach for a struggling team. The film masterfully balances the highs and lows of the game, weaving together themes of growth, friendship, and family.
The narrative is both direct and surprisingly complex, keeping viewers engaged with its relatable characters and compelling plot. While the team faces off-field challenges from antagonists with selfish motives, the film never loses its inspirational core. The lighthearted moments of comedy provide a perfect counterpoint to the heavier themes, making the journey all the more fulfilling.
From the veteran actors to the rising stars, the cast delivers outstanding performances.
Before you ask, yes there is a bit of romance, it's not direct but happens on the sidelines between the coach and his ex girlfriend and between the captain of the rugby team and the captain of the shooting team...it's subtle.
"The Winning Try" is a must-watch for rugby fans and anyone who loves a good underdog story. It's a winning combination of sports drama, character development, and heartwarming moments that will leave you cheering.
Living is happiness, Death is painful but that can change depending on whose telling their story.
"Ren Yu" aka "Run Away Princess" is a show that truly sticks with you, long after the credits roll. It delves into some incredibly heavy topics like poor parenting, bullying, murder, and sexual assault, but it balances these dark themes with elements of friendship, found family, and the enduring power of hope.
The story follows Su Lin, a young girl desperate to escape her bleak city life and pursue a college education. Her hopes are dashed when she's bullied and thrown into a sewer by her classmates. Down in the darkness, she's forced to learn how to survive, all while trying to figure out what "home" really means.
It's an emotional journey that leaves you feeling drained, but in the best way possible.
What makes this show so powerful is its unflinching portrayal of society's realities. We see parents who believe covering up their child's wrongdoing is protection, those too afraid to stand up for their own kids, and others who are overly suffocating.
Amidst this, the show highlights finding light in the darkness, resilience, and the strength to start anew, even when you lose your identity and have to cope with immense trauma. It's a raw and honest look at the world, and it's precisely this unfiltered realness that can be uncomfortable, leaving the viewer emotionally exhausted. It’s a scary world, no doubt, but it’s also a world where children are often forced to become their own protectors when the adults in their lives fail them.
The characters, whether good, bad, or somewhere in between, feel incredibly real, evoking a range of emotions from hate and frustration to understanding and love.
The writing is sharp and raw, skillfully weaving together its complex themes. And the acting? Phenomenal. Huang Yang Tian Tian's portrayal of Su Lin is absolutely breathtaking; her resilience and strength, even at her breaking point, make you root for her every step of the way. Her emotional breakdowns are particularly moving, and honestly, I found myself crying with her.
The entire cast deserves applause for bringing this powerful story to life with such amazing performances.
While it's a heavy watch and not for the easily triggered.
"Ren Yu" is undeniably one of the best shows this year, and I'm eagerly awaiting its conclusion.
FRESH AND UNIQUE: Why you should watch love on the turquoise land.
After a modern C-drama drought, "Love on the Turquoise Land" has completely pulled me back in. This fantasy drama might not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's certainly mine. I'm eagerly awaiting each new episode!
The show's premise is captivating: a group of monstrous Earth Fiends wreaking havoc, leading the Emperor to form the South Mountain Hunters. Years later, the Fiends return, now in human form, and the Hunters must reunite. The world-building is fantastic, slowly unveiling the rules of this world, introducing characters, and establishing their motivations. The pacing is perfect—neither rushed nor slow—keeping me hooked. Action-packed fight scenes, fantasy elements, a touch of sci-fi, and a blend of comedy and romance make for a compelling watch.
Dilraba shines as the lead, her character both fierce and vulnerable. Chen Xingxu is equally brilliant, bringing a witty intensity to his role. Their chemistry is undeniable, their relationship blossoming amidst the chaos. The romance unfolds naturally, enhancing the story without overshadowing the main plot.
Final review
This show absolutely deserves more recognition! It's frustrating when something unique and different doesn't get the appreciation it deserves. The production is excellent, and while it could have been even better, it's still undeniably good.
The world-building is phenomenal; I'd love to delve deeper into the stories and character backgrounds, but even with limitations, they've managed to create something captivating. The storyline is entertaining and flows seamlessly, and the acting is superb.
The action scenes are solid, and the romance is surprisingly well-executed, proving once again that romance in non-romance shows is often top-tier. Dilraba and Chen Xingxu's chemistry is amazing! Overall, it's an amazing watch. If you enjoy the genre, you'll definitely find it worth your time. As a modern, avid CDrama watcher, it's refreshing to see something new and unique, and this show delivers exactly that. I hope they continue to make more; the storyline has so much potential for further exploration. It felt like those Western shows that run for seasons, fleshing out characters, stories, and backstories – I'd happily watch more!"
Definitely a 2025 kdrama year defender!
My review begins with bewilderment at those complaining about excessive cooking scenes. Seriously? In a show centered on a chef and her food? The director set the tone, promising food would be the star. And it is! Our female lead, a chef, expresses herself through her craft. She cooks to survive, to charm, to bring warmth, and to uphold her honor. Each episode's title is a different course, mirroring the culinary journey. The food even fuels the romance, as the king finds a new flavor and warmth in her cooking. The show's title, "Bon Appétit Your Majesty," underscores this focus. I'm relieved it stays true to its promise, unlike shows that veer off course. Plus, the food shots are stunning. Let the food be the main character!***
"Bon Appétit Your Majesty" weaves a tale of a modern chef transported to Joseon-era She encounters a tyrannical king, and their initial clashes give way to a unique bond as he recognizes her extraordinary culinary skills.
This show strikes a perfect balance: the chef's journey as a royal cook, blossoming romance, palace intrigue, and well-placed humor. It's a wholesome blend of elements.
The characters and performances shine. Lim Yoona as Yeon Jinyoung, the time-traveling chef, is a revelation. Her intelligence, wit, confidence, and vulnerability are captivating, as is her passion for cooking. This may be Yoona's best role yet.
Lee Chaemin embodies King Yeon, a tyrant and a foodie. His ability to portray both sides – the domineering king and the goofy food enthusiast – is impressive. His reactions to the food and his struggles with the modern meal names add a layer of complexity and interest.
"The acting is phenomenal, with captivating eye expressions and impeccable comedic timing, bringing the characters to life.
The romance unfolds beautifully; it's subtle yet impactful, as the characters evolve from strangers at odds to a royal chef and king, and beyond. It's a journey built gradually and perfectly balanced, with Lee Chaemin and Yoona's undeniable chemistry enhancing every interaction. Their romance is a captivating mix of star-crossed lovers, a grumpy-sunshine dynamic, and a touch of enemies-to-lovers.
The ending was perfect they met and lived happily ever after, and the details of their journey remain a delightful secret. We're so focused on logic these days, but some stories simply don't need it, and that's okay. This show has serious rewatch potential! The humor, the food, the chemistry between the leads, and the acting were all fantastic. It kept me completely engrossed. I had a great time watching this, and it's definitely making it to my 2025 KDrama year-end list.
PERFECT FOR A BINGE WATCH!
Undercover High School is an entertaining drama that, while enjoyable in the moment, might not leave a lasting impression. It’s a great series to binge-watch, providing a fun escape, but I doubt it will linger in my mind for long. For me, the show has more pros than cons; in fact, I struggled to find any drawbacks. While the undercover spy concept feels familiar, reminiscent of American series, it has a unique soul that sets it apart as a K-drama.The story follows an NIS agent who returns to high school undercover to uncover rumored lost gold believed to belong to the government, hidden within one of South Korea’s most prestigious schools. Along the way, he encounters the show’s villain, rekindles a first love, and forms new friendships. This journey also serves as a healing process for him, as he had previously dropped out of high school due to accusations and bullying. I won’t delve too much into the details to avoid spoilers, but that premise lays a solid foundation for the narrative.
The pros of Undercover High School are numerous. First and foremost, the storytelling is both entertaining and engaging. I love the perfect blend of action, suspense, thrill, and comedy, with just a hint of romance that doesn’t overshadow the main plot. Often, shows like this struggle to balance romance with the storyline, but this series successfully weaves in romantic moments between the leads while keeping the primary narrative moving forward.
Secondly, the cast and their performances truly stand out. This is my first time seeing Seo Kang Joon, and I’m thoroughly impressed. Not only is he strikingly handsome with captivating eyes, but he also delivers a compelling performance. His character feels refreshingly complex; he embodies the tough persona required for his undercover work while also showcasing a chaotic, humorous side at school. He’s simply a joy to watch. Jung Ki-joo also shines in her role. This is already my fourth K-drama featuring her, and I admire how she excels in witty roles. Her comedic timing is impeccable, and I appreciate that she never falls into the damsel-in-distress trope. Instead, she portrays a character who stands up for herself, often in the most unexpected ways.
The dynamic between these two characters begins with a misunderstanding—the student-teacher relationship where she mistakes him for a bully, and he is perplexed by her cluelessness regarding her students. However, as the story progresses, these misunderstandings are resolved, adding depth to their interactions.
As the story unfolds, we discover a childhood connection between the two leads, a trope I typically find overdone. Surprisingly, it didn’t bother me here. Their dynamics improve significantly after this revelation, especially when she realizes they are the same age and that he isn’t actually a student. This blurs the lines between their relationship, allowing us to witness their incredible chemistry and camaraderie as they team up to accomplish his mission. Their chemistry rivals that of other non-romantic shows, and I find it hard to believe that some viewers didn’t feel it—though I understand that chemistry can be subjective.
Additionally, the supporting characters, particularly the team the male lead works with and the students he encounters at school, including his supposed sister, add depth to the narrative. Each character is interesting and contributes meaningfully to the overall story. The humor in the show deserves special mention; the comedic aspects shine brightly. The humor is so well executed that it often catches me off guard. The characters’ impeccable comedic timing perfectly balances the seriousness of the plot, providing lighthearted moments that enhance the viewing experience.
Lastly, I appreciate the show's concise format. With only 12 episodes, it avoids dragging on unnecessarily, covering all necessary plot points without feeling stretched.
Overall, Undercover High School offers a delightful mix of action, humor, and emotional depth, making it a worthwhile watch. While it may not be a groundbreaking series, its charm and engaging characters make it a memorable experience for viewers looking for a lighthearted drama.
It was surprisingly good!
A group of students engage in an hierarchical game where they vote for eachother and are graded in groups of ABCD and then F for the person who fails to get any votes...this person then becomes a victim of consensual bullying by the other members especially those in the top grades.....Our female lead becomes a victim to this bullying after she transfers schools and lands in grade F for not having any votes......and right there and then we witness her slowly learn about the rules of the game and how it has affected the students relationships and even the students psychology or mental health...things heat up when she discovers that the person who made the game is one of their class mates...and that's when the story heats off as she tries to get her classmates on her side in order for them to destroy the game....these students are placed in a psychological warfare with one another as they try to find a way to get rid of the game.I loved the premise of this drama and I must say it's execution was done in a way that felt really entertaining and Intriguing to me as a watcher.
What did I loved about the show?
I loved the acting...I loved how every one delivered in terms of acting I was told that it was an acting debut for the girl who played the villain of the show and Iam suprised by how good she was..her micro eye expressions and body language always gave me chills...in addition to Bona our female lead who out did her self.....the support characters also did an amazing job.
I loved the way the characters were written most especially the main female lead and the villain of the show..I love how these characters mirrored eachother in terms of strengths and determination and strategies but what differentiated them was the fact that one was using them for good and the other for bad....I love how smart these two characters were made on top of being manipulative and strategists....I loved how the main female lead was a smart planner she did everything after giving it much thought and that made her character stand out for me...I enjoyed her inner monologues since they gave us an idea on what her plans were....either way she was smart and easy to root for......the other characters also blended in perfectly since they all had different personalities which added to the charm of the series.
I loved the story pacing which didn't seem fast nor slow but just alright and it kept me invested both physically and emotionally...it was an intense yet really satisfying and emotional ride.
I loved the osts and background music that added to the intensity of the different scenes....the osts gave me goosebumps especially the opening intro ost that hyped me up for the drama.
I loved the finale and how it wrapped up most of the things in a way that didn't feel rushed but rather they took time off to answer questions arroused and also tied up the different stories of the different characters...it felt satisfying and rewarding.
I loved most of everything about this drama to be honest..it might not have been the most perfectly written but it was entertaining nonetheless.
What I didn't like about it was the fact that it was too short...it ended sooner than I wanted it too but at the same time Iam glad the number of episodes were enough to introduce the story delve into it and then finale conclude it.
Do I recommend this?
YES, If you are looking for a short yet brilliantly written and thrilling drama.
Note: There are scenes of violence and they can be disturbing but they lessen with every episode so you don't have to worry about them being many.....
It's a good and entertaining watch!
