MASTERPIECE !!
This show is SO GOOD. The first few episodes are a bit confusing and slow but it quickly picks up and hooks you in. The acting in this show is incredible, especially the 2 main characters. Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan did an amazing job portraying the chemistry between their characters despite the censorship. Xiao Zhan's acting literally gave me chills in numerous scenes. I love how every character has a story, even the villains. I non-stop binged this show over the span of a few days because of how good it is. Currently rewatching it as I am now way too attached to this show and will be ordering the book series.Was this review helpful to you?
Masterpiece!
This show is an absolute masterpiece. Everything about this show from the acting to the storyline is just amazing. It covers so many important and influential topics beautifully which I've never seen any other BL do. As a member of the lgbtq+ community, this show truly made me feel seen. The sound track in this show is amazing and unique as they don't only use thai songs but english ones as well. The actors did an amazing job portraying their characters especially Gun. There is never a dull scene and the chemistry among the main 2 couples is so good.Was this review helpful to you?
one for the history books
This show is definitely a rare gem. It was so good from beginning to end without a single boring scene. The show feels very rich and the production is immaculate. The acting is insane. All the actors gave it their all and portrayed their characters so well, especially Bible and Build. The OST's are soo good that I actually listen to them on Spotify everyday. The only con I have about it is the plot. They tried to include as much as possible from the book which left us with inconsistencies and many unnecessary scenes.
