i’m very glad there was no major romance throughout the drama, like the director said, so the way the writer added junhyeon and banggeul’s romantic relationship towards the very end was actually well done. everyone was worried about potential weird/incest-y vibes (which i wasn’t worried about) but none of that was there in the end. the revelation of junhyeon falling in love with banggeul while he was in a coma was incredibly heartwarming.

this just might be kim soonok and hyun jimin’s first 10/10 drama! maybe they’re better suited off with adaptations 😂

he has an upcoming drama with song kang coming out in august called four hands, two sonatas!

it really makes so much sense why they were desperately praying for reborn rookie to hit 30% nationwide in their business reports, LOL.

absolutely! i will be heavily rooting for lee junyoung and jeon hyejin to win best actor and best supporting actress (unless she could be eligible for best actress, which would be awesome)!

i wonder if reborn rookie could’ve gotten higher ratings if it followed the classic format of 16 episodes. not a lot of the 12 episode cable dramas have surpassed double digits in ratings so it’s impressive that reborn rookie did, even if it’s not enough to save the channel entirely. i’m proud of the cast and crew, anyway!

the fact this show surpassed double digits in ratings despite having no major promo is so impressive. junyoung will be on you quiz on the block after this show ends, though 😔 i wish the episode came out earlier!
