This drama could have easily avoided few things. Maybe it becomes mandatory for FL to kiss another man to show she is independent and can do whatever she wants.
I liked the way they dealed with ML character arc. Leave her alone is the best thing he can do instead of clinging onto her with nonstop apologizing. This FL will never appreciate it, despite saying why he doesn't fight for her.
She gets time to process everything and start seeing things in bigger picture. Biggest reason is enough time passed. She already overcome her past by the time it revealed.
Present events gives complete closure to her past after initial emotional outburst. She can't mess up present life because of past again. Life teaches her some harsh lessons and she learned from it.
