Not a popular opinion, but just a thought :D I am not saying that CSS's mother is right and i think she does love CSS. The problem is that she does not know how to show her affection toward CSS or show it incorrectly. For example when she bring ruler to measure CSS to make her dress, she deflect her action and show it in the opposite way, in the episode 24 it is also the same, she know she make mistake when talking to CSS but she can not express it, instead she take an action that imply the opposite. it is like when someone want to show affection but to shy to show it and then the defense mechanism take over (not to mention her experience is only raising boys in the battlefield). Just a thought though :)
