well both of the leads did an excellent job, its just the story that feels very forced.

I think the first part was purposely rushed so the story would focus on their relationship. And JM might have wanted to visit him for a long time before that. Also they grew up as siblings, literally living together as a family thats not something you easily forget. But again, its the plot
