Everyone (trolls & haters excluded) is excited, talking about the character Xie Huai An is different with Li Lianhua who spared everyone, while Xie Huai'an showed no mercy to his enemies. Beside Cheng Yi as the main character, TVOA also has a strong castline and many are optimistic about this drama. This drama has also entered Douban's real time TVShows.
For me, as long as they keep Cheng Yi's character in the episode instead of 'inserting a useless character' no thanks to the messy and lazy writing, this drama will be fine. Cheng Yi never fails to deliver and his eyes can even act ☺️
Just finished but i gta say... wat happen to the cgi at the end??? That last fight scene with GMD was so fake they just slash around like child's play... didnt like it the last few fighting scenes... and he didnt justify himself instead he chose to turn back time if this story is about letting go then it failed becuz he wanted to change the time back for ppl to live again he still cant let go (dont tell me bout his sacrifices) who in this world is dead and can come back? None, we all move on with life even if we let go or not. Btw why didn't they include a happy endinging for the general's son and his friend played by Xue Bayi? Lol do they not get revive? Poor general maybe they forgot bout these characters at the beginning... XD

Now this is how you do enemies to lovers story.The story between them so good and I couldn't care less about the princess and her story because I feel like they both deserved what they did.Xia Jing Shi motives were valid even though the approach of revenge was wrong.Loved the army team especially Lu Ke!. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for the best enemies to lovers story.
To even think I almost dropped it on episode 13. Glad I stuck around. One of the best fl I’ve seen, well balanced, loved her. Chen Zhe Yuan is just beautiful wow what a beautiful man, played his character well. Loved them as a couple but at the same time didn’t feel them as a couple 🤷🏾♀️. This is how you end a C-drama 👌🏾

One of the best drama I’ve seen. It’s a well balanced drama in terms of the overall perspectives: storyline - love, plot twist, character development. And loved that each FL and ML trust each other : an on point definition of complementing each other, fighting side-by-side.
And the chemistry was there, the way they interacted and respected each other - it defines the deep affection they have for each other without having to ‘shout it out loud’.
Loveed it .. It was so amazing Everything (story,acting etc) was so good .. somethings really tested my patience but still amazing According to the story ending was justified but I don't know in a corner of my heart I really wanted a re fight b/w fang and Li.... 8.7/10....👍👍
I have rewatched this drama like literally 7-8 times? I actually first watched it during one of my lowest times, struggling with mental health problems. This drama is so meaningful and actually taught me so muchhh about life and letting go. It's not your typical Wuxia drama, would 100000% recommend it to anyone who haven't watch it yet! Li Lianhua and Fang Duobing are my comfort characters <3
I like main characters like this. While everyone else is busy trying to be number one, Li Lian Hua just doesn’t care. He’s chill and sees the bigger picture. Not like the know-it-all type of ML. Are there any shows with leads like this?
