Looking for recommendations for similar dramas. This was sooo good, I'm usually not a fan of this kind of drama but I took a chance and did not regret it one bit.
i still remember i binge-watched this drama in just a few days. it was weirdly addicting though i found the misunderstanding after the misunderstanding had gotten really frustrating, even in the last episode. still worth to watch.

This is sooo damn well done, well written , well directed and well enacted!!! Action scenes are breathtaking!! Its rarer for me do love dramas that doesn't have romance angle....infact personally i feel either they should handle the romance angle properly or should just leave it completely, here the couple were literally forced and unsuited/mismatched, specially the pairing with ML But apart from this I genuinely loveddd this to the core....but sadly even after completing the whole thing I don't remember a single name of the place, sects or ppl apart from the leads...and it was so confusing that i constantly had to refers to charts thought the drama to understand the relationship because the story was too engaging to give up😭😂
Finally finished today , it was really good drama , the actual interesting plot starts after ep 5. I almost dropped it in intial episode because it was just about fighting with each other... But after ep 5 it really become interesting. Good and worth watch drama with a great story..
A very good wuxia-mystery drama and after long span of many disappointing shows (mostly romance-xianxia since those dominate the cdrama world right now), finally a cdrama that i really enjoyed from beginning to end. This show is great for you if you like historical wuxia, mystery cases, a smart ML, brotherly bonds, hidden identities and a big overarching conspiracy. This show is not for you if you like romance, naive leads, fast paced action plots or more fantastical xianxia-like elements. Best (non-modern) cdrama of the year 2023 for me.
A masterpiece in my book. I love a drama that captivates me to watch til the end. Cus i have a habit to stop midway then i lose interest to finish them dramas.

If you like "League of Nobleman", then this is an even faster-paced detection drama in that genre. Except for the overly unbelievable CG scene in episode 1 (to me), it becomes more interesting. I am so grateful to the person recommending this.
The fight/sword choreography is so good in this! Love how we can see the full range of complex movement in the fight scenes, compared to the type of shot where the camera quickly pans away at close angles and we can’t see anything. If anyone knows of other dramas with fight choreography that’s comparable to this one, please comment!
i honestly don’t write on here this much but just finished the show and it was actually really good lol. definitely deserves all the praise it’s been getting
this was a very solid drama👍🏻loved the trio for this series,we have the clingy ex girlfriend(ah fei),the cute puppy(duobing) and the guy that's actually doesn't need any protection but always getting overprotective by the two😆the cases were very interesting but the plot twist at the end seems like a makjang story but the dynamic between the three were so good that you only notice a few flaws in the drama but i think they should shorten the episodes because it was a little dragging at the end.overall if you wanna see bromance and interesting cases then this is for you but the ending will leave you wanting for more😉
And i just comeback again to here after hear news that they announce S2. So sooo much happy 🥳. My favorite character, a bald wuxin hopefully still played by Liu Xue Yi 😄
