Wait is he the one that represent the movie offer to hayama?
I check the episode again, it's him. I haven't seen his performance in so long, hopefully this is a sign that he'll play more roles. Barefoot left me a great impression of him

Girl i cried too 🥹 made me remember the time where i gotta put my dreams on hold but it's the best solution after all, it's a win win. life doesn't always go the way we want, it's hurtful but one way on the other it's worthwhile. Hayama and I need to jam to "The winner takes it All" by ABBA 🥹

Unfortunately you're 100% right, this shows is just so dark. But one thing i learned from this drama is that you'll find a light even at the darkest place

My interpretation is that not only he did let go his dream role for a duty, but by this sacrifice he'll (or he prob already knew) able to see shirasaki to be the spotlight, and as much as he's sad about the role, he's happy for shirasaki for getting the part. That's why the camera point the book and then finished at the pictures frame, indicate that the book back at shelf is that he's sad and empty but then the pictures reminds him that he is also proud for shirasaki and letting go his dream role wasn't that much of a waste after all
I absolutely love how realistic this show is, showcase the real case of dream and duty, and feeling want to be chosen and the duty of being the chosen. Just like eps 4, this eps made me staring to the wall and thinking about life and duty, feeling related and understand both hayama and shirasaki, and damn adulting is complicated.
And that scene where hayama put the book back into it place, made my heart sink because that's what i also did back when i have to put my dreams on hold. Alexa please play "The Winner Takes it All" by ABBA 🥹
No need to question all the actors acting, they all amazing. they all portray the characters exactly what the characters went through, absolutely love them all. And mister sakuma has become wiser as the time goes, he is one of those friend where you can go and tell them your problems and need some advices <3
If I'm not mistaken, the manga only has 1 volume and it's completed
That's actually interesting ideas, hopefully the author can take notes on this. I think it's probably also because the manga wasn't that much popular back in 2019, but now that the series is popular maybe they change their minds 🤔 (kind of same with my personal weatherman manga, where they completed at 2020 and then decided to continue again in 2025)

Yes I'm hoping there will be more volume but honestly it's quite an old manga (2019 if I'm not mistaken) but the story is well done and i don't think i need more volume or more drama (except maybe extra chapter), they already have their dream life and only us as reader to make predictions bout what life they live after their marriage

I don't understand what do you mean ugly? they all have unique features, and handsome is subjective anyway. Their physical appearances are spot on just like the manga characters. When it comes to jdrama, don't expect the actors to have typical trendy similar hairstyles and smooth full foundation skin with no blemishes, pores, or oily face. They all unique and diverse as well as showing real ordinary human skins and appearances. The punk clothes honestly it's okay to me. Since i don't really know about punk style, to me it's good and similar to the manga as well
Season 2 is straight-up better than Season 1, and I’ll die on that hill - especially when it comes to the storytelling.Episode…
Agreed!! Their communication in eps 4 just spot on right on heart, navigating adult and real world. Their dialogue just made me think about life in general <3
Sakuma and shirasaki dialogue just hit the right spot of my heart as adult navigating the real world, making me sit in silent and thinking about life in general 🥹
ngl I'm not very happy about the casting but it might be because I like the original characters' looks too much…
I haven't seen any of the mls acting so don't know to expect yet considering this is their debut as main role. They do act in several shows but only as side roles and don't really have that much screen time but both really look exactly like the characters in manga which is hopefully good signs
