Hayama looked so lonely even though he is living with someone, his partner gave him breadcrumbs at the bar and…
Shirasaki does listen, like the last scene when they're went on a date and after they went home from the bar, he do actually listen to what asami feelings. Yes, asami is very quite guy and he's always explaining his feelings very short but shirasaki can recognize asami's trying to say, but asami unlike shirasaki who will explain how he felt very blunt and clear. And for the bar scene, they decided not to sit next each other because they have to keep their relationship a secret even with their friends (yamase, sakuma), it's their deal with their manager to keep the relationship on bay in order to avoid potential scandal
The way I'm seeing their relationship is that Asami is the one who takes care of things, maybe knows more because…
Loved ur explanation, asami is very quiet person while shirasaki is very front with his feelings. These opposite polar are the key of their relationship but ofc relationship will always have ups and downs, in my opinion their relationship is fine and positive, they keep communicating which is good
Then this series may not be for you and that's okay. Akasaka always has mixed reviews, yes the series may be move…
He's indeed sometimes made me crawl my skin tho lol, but he's a type of a person who is very blunt with his action and words, just like in s1 too and apparently that's why hayama likes him in the beginning. If you also read the manga, it'll explain how very blunt this shirasaki is, i myself can't do that lol. But he's also the type who also willing to talk too, not just doing things out of blue but actually thinking through it as well as blunt
I can't bring myself to watch it now. It's become boring 😢😷
Then this series may not be for you and that's okay. Akasaka always has mixed reviews, yes the series may be move slower and monoton but it's just like regular life anyway. Nothing dramatic happen, just two people living their life <3 and personally this kind of show is something i like to watch. There are tons of jbl too that's coming out, and in mdl there is also a master list of jbl from old to new one, you can check it out..
on another note, is that "Rain and Confession" novel real or is it just something for the show... i'm…
It's just fictional, but they are interesting and i do really want to read it lol. i recommend you to read Crime and Punishment by dostoevsky, it's about the main character killing this one man and how he have to live with his crime. "rain and confession" kind of reminds me of that book, highly recommended!
Can someone explain what’s really going on with Kuroki Keita? His behaviour feels so strange. It’s like he…
To me, your 2nd paragraph is one of the things i like about Japanese dramas, human emotions in general are SUPER complex and complicated. Have you seen someone did something, and you were like "why he/she/they did that?", "I didn't notice that his/her/their feelings is/are like that.", "why he/she/they is looking like that?", or etc? If you have, then that's one examples of how complicated yet so subtle the human emotions can be. That's what Japanese entertainment trying to deliver
Where’s the BL in this BL, it feels like Skirasaki just uses Hayama as a mentor, and source of reassurance,…
BL is just like any other romance genre, about people who fall in love romantically. But in this series, we can see that relationship is not always rainbows and blushes, it's about be there for each other through ups and downs. Love can be extremely hard work, but it's worth it. Relationship will always gonna have some sort of conflict especially when both parties are in the same field/job, but how you manage it, that's where the test comes. And that's what the series is doing, they combine romance and human being life.
It's true that the series is focused more on shirasaki since s1, just like the manga too. This is where hayama have to delivered through his outside visual (body language, posture, eyes, dialogue, the music, etc) to send the story from hayama's perspective without too many dialogue to the audiences. Extra information, if the series turns the focus to hayama, you can hear the cue from the background music. Akasaka main theme music has 2 version, hayama ver and shirasaki ver (you can listen to their score in Spotify or yt music). Everytime the scene focuses on hayama, the main theme music (hayama ver) is playing
This series may not be everyone cup of tea, but i absolutely love this series since s1 and s2 is definitely better. One thing i love about akasaka series is that how they portray rawness of human life, from falling in love slowly, navigating your life with your partner, adult stuff, pressure and tense of work, the feeling of when you found the problem solutions, a dream, an insecurity, and the hard work of living the life and sacrifice. Nothing dramatic or fancy happened in this series, just human being living their best life, but life is al about ups and downs, and this series delivered it. And I'm here for it ❤️
I hope there'll be season 3 because i want them to cover every volume of the manga
The Courage to Stand for LoveIn that crowded cafeteria, when cruel words echoed against Minato,Shizuma rose, not…
Beautifully explained! That scene where minato said he's used to it, my heart sank. He probably faces a lot of hate before :( I'm so glad shizuma stand and placed a boundaries of respect to his friend and made it clear that he don't like people who doesn't respect others, respect is just easy honestly. And the fact that his friend had the audacity to be, "huh? me?" after just disrespect someone he barely knew, i mean he's also the one who ditch shizuma when he's heavily drunk and let minato take care of him. Def not a great friend to begin 🫠
Asamami deserves better NGL...but it's also a testament how relationships are not rosy all the time no matter…
Relationship always have ups and down. Their work starting to catching up on their nerves, hopefully they can find a way to go with it even with the pressure from work
Watch the last scene when he puts the book back on the shelf. You’ll see the real reason why he chose what he…
interesting point! i agree that hayama prob did not let go his role because of shirasaki, but more because of what people expected for him, just like his manager said in eps 2 that people build their dreams through hayama which is his main reason he choose the movie project. but giving up this role may not be too much of a pain or waste because shirasaki will get it and through that it gave him strength to accept it and be grateful for his opportunity and surroundings

I also noticed that the book is placed directly below from the picture frames, is like hayama 'buried' his dream role to let shirasaki take the shine because at the end shirasaki is hayama's treasure and part of his life, which is much more important to hayama.
I can imagine that if hayama insist to keep going with auditions, their relationship will be on the thin thread
And for the bar scene, they decided not to sit next each other because they have to keep their relationship a secret even with their friends (yamase, sakuma), it's their deal with their manager to keep the relationship on bay in order to avoid potential scandal
