On ep1 and CRINGING at the random korean and english lines thrown in. Whoever wrote and approved of that shit, never let them cook again! I'm only continuing cuz chat saying it's peak. Also Net's hot and Kim's voice is so frickin cute and nice to listen to! Like honey-butter lol.
Forever curse netflix for not renewing this masterpiece but choosing to continue that zionist slopfest for 80+ seasons. I wished SO BAD for team firefighter to win but alas my second faves won so idm. Min-Seon was really the mvp she's the absolute best. I'm still happy sobang team won the arena battles even after getting dogpiled on and set up by their 'allies'. Sobang deserved all the prizes and luxury. They were the strongest but also the kindest of all teams. They could've chosen to be assholes about it but they were human through and through. 10/10 team; no notes. Stunt could've really gone far had they chosen a better ally to ride or die for. Everyone knows you can't trust the military or cops lol. Bodyguards had charisma, a pretty color, and a dream. It got them to top 3 though. I would've liked to see team police a bit more nonetheless. The girl with the bob seemed to know what she was doing tbh. Her and the recon girl from military gave me similar vibes in terms of how intelligent they were.
STAAAHP when it showed that it was puppy Seong-Hyeon that helped him out during their highschool days and was actually the first person to meet him UUUGHGHGHG MY HEART! Also the fact that the characters called for smoking scenes but none of the actors wanted to smoke so they cut it off every time was so funny to watch. Cute.
Need me a crier like Duan Zi Ang. On some real talk, the acting in this is INCREDIBLE!! Especially the main leads and the doctor. The editing can be confusing at times along with pacing but (although I'm against the use of it) the ai scenes were entertaining to rewind. Horses running on 3 legs, flags disappearing, and soldiers galloping using the horses' missing legs. But the team were tasked with the responsibility of jam packing long chapters worth of plot and a hundred betrayals into 12 episodes and they still managed to produce a drama with a high re-watch value. So the previous points are nothing that I'm too fussed about. On a positive note, this drama DELIVERED. It had some of the most aesthetically pleasing and powerful scenes. The soundtrack was amazing too. I didn't realize I had tears left to cry until I watched Zhe Xu's monologues. You can feel every emotion when Mi Jin and him deliver their lines. Definitely going in my top 10. Also if anyone can recommend others like this and "Meet You At The Blossom", I'd appreciate it!
Didn't like it at all. Didn't think the main leads matched at all. The chubby main lead and tall ikemen looked…
Just because 'Hioki' doesn't look like a buccal fat removal patient doesn't mean he's chubby. And even if he was chubby, who cares? Not everyone needs to look like they've been mewing since birth lol. He's talented in acting and visually fits nicely in the series too.
He kinda looks like a mix between Lee Seung Gyu and Naphat Vikairungroj. But I swear I've seen a celebrity who looks EXACTLY like him or close. I just can't remember rn.
I hope the 'not so step-brothers' get their own spin-off. I've kind of just blanked out the main couple ever since they came on screen. Also why did the series start off with so much potential only for it to go down the drain around ep 6? Major downer.
