That was an amazing battle scene. I absolutely loved it. I don't know if Wan'er or Zhou Ye get to them first but I hope they meet on the battlefield and find true kinship and love.And we get the long overdue kiss! Finally.

Classic line. Lu Zhao Yao might finally get it into her thick skull that it's her that Li Chen Lan worries about and not Qin Zhi Yan. The former captain of the guards is pi**ing me off. She's letting her jealousy get the better of her and she's just getting used. How many times can she make the same mistake?

4/18/24 Re-watched rating 9.5Original rating 9.0Kluen finally being able to express his feelings in words and actions is so very sweet. He was able to show Daonuea all the ways he was keeping him in heart even throughout their high school days. Dao may have had liked on Kluen but Kluen had already fallen in love with him then. Just melts my heart.

And we find out the Kluen had liked Nuea since high school and that his love for Nuea caused his break-up with Gia. Kluen running after the car with the bracelet in hand was a bit heartbreaking, esp. with Nuea crying in the car. If they had only been brave enough to confess earlier, they may not have caused each other so much pain.

4/17/24 Re-watch rating 9.5Original rating 9.0Thoughts on this episode on my re-watch: (1) Nuea was totally justified in feeling angry when he felt like the third wheel after finding out Kluen liked him back. I get that best friends still hold a special place in your heart and they take up your time, but Kluen should have brought Nuea with him on whatever errand made him leave. I thought it was unfair to ask Nuea to wait, esp. since Kluen didn't know how long he was going to be away; (2) I don't think Nuea should have said yes to Phoon even for 24 hours. It just gave Phoon expectations and hope. Plus, Nuea and Kluen were already starting to talk about their mutual feelings and that was just going to make things even less clear. I think Fah may be on the right track that Nuea said yes to Phoon to spite Kluen even if Nuea said that wasn't his intent. These actions were just hurting them both. They're saying I like/love you but acting in an opposite way.

Sean has only seen a few interactions between them yet he managed to decipher what has happened in the Gia-Kluen-Nuea love triangle that actually wasn't. I'm glad he was straightforward with Kluen, so we'll finally get Kleun to explain it to Nuea. It's about time.

4/16/24 Re-watch rating 10.0 Original rating 10.0That final scene between Papang and Nuea - I can totally see why Nuea couldn't say no to her even though it was the wrong thing to do. And Kluen witnessing Phoon helping Nuea throw away his unhappiness away was heartbreaking. Nuea had been holding on to his unrequited love since grade 10, so who can blame him?

And, omg, that pool scene was just too cute. Joong's acting has gotten better than his stint in 2 Moons 2, with more subtlety.

Re-watched rating 9.5 4/16/24Original rating 9.5I wasn't sure if I would feel differently about this show once I complete this re-watch almost exactly a year after my original viewing. Now, I get why I liked it so much. It's those furtive glances between them, although some were not so secret. Nuea protested so much about being completely over Kluen, while Kluen sought Nuea's company at every chance. My heart sank each time Kluen answered Gia's call in front of Nuea or when she showed up at their school.

I didn't like the misinformation. Aside from that, the show was great. The interactions are becoming more natural. We're also getting more back story between the second leads. It's like peeling an onion skin one episode at a time.

Where is the trust? So much talking, no one is listening. But actions also speak louder than words. Even a long-term couple needs time to reconnect. An established couple can feel when something is off, even when the reason's innocuous. And a couple-to-be... I don't think there's room for mind games - I'm talking to you, Wish! Ugh, so much angst.

Park hasn't let go of his guilt over Tin's father's death which wasn't his fault. IMO, it clouds his feelings for Tin too much. I don't know whether he can fully unravel them to figure out whether it's philia (affectionate love between family) or eros (romantic love) that he feels for Tin.Phloen's crush on Tin is obviously the romantic type, and Tin likes the attention. Without Park in the picture, Phloen and Tin could easily become a couple. They have similar interests in the arts. They have sweet personalities. And Tin is open to learning more about Phloen. As we get to know more about this tiny neighborhood, we get to know about the complexity of each of the characters' backgrounds. It's no wonder this tight-knit group of friends have stuck by one another; they have really needed one another and been there for one another.

I need duct tape to patch it all up again. Uea's Mom has never cared and protected him. When someone is meeting someone else for an arranged marriage, why stay when you have agreed to let that person go when they're interested in someone else? I would not only disappear, I would change my number and only keep in touch with Jade, the only loyal and true friend Uea has.
