what does the 21st century have to do with it.. if you look at movies from the 70s and stuff there are age gaps as well and relationships between teen girls and 30 year olds which is weird..or in shows like little house in the prairie or road to avonlea where minors (girls) would have grown up actors as love interests.. even in the jdrama itazura na kiss love in tokyo the male lead actor is 10 years older than the female lead.. but I guess these are cases where although the age gaps are acceptable they are inappropriate but I guess they aren't related to this drama because the leads are both adults
I guess relating to this drama it looks like the actors have a 19 year age gap? it doesn't bother me unless the male lead looks too old for the female lead..

I'm still on ep 1 although I've skipped through a bit while it was airing, but the message I got from seeing the ending scene of ae sun and gwang sik is that everyone has a story. even your grandparents, greatgrandparents etc were young and in love once and how life goes on and stuff. so even though it's not a typical "happy ending" I guess life is like that.

so this is in the time of Crown Prince So Hyun.. like tamra the island and my dearest as well.. does he die in this like in real life?
