Still the best adaptation, Ariel's perfomance actually made me smile even with the dumb moments, in the japanese…
while I actually do like the love in tokyo version, the FL actress was 16 and the ML actor was 26 🤨 I think they still had chemistry, but I like zhi shu the best because he's actually a human and shows emotions (I've only seen they kiss again though)
I watched this over 2 years ago. I didn't watch it started with a kiss before this because I've seen enough versions of ItaKiss to know what the story is about and I wanted to see their married life and wasn't expecting all this skin ship. hehe. zhi shu is quite affectionate and I like how they included the scene where he went looking for her in the last episode after she tried to run away cause of her blindness, because it shows how much he loves her <3
Do you have any recommendations for drama like ita kiss?
I actually prefer watching older dramas and I think you can find it in good quality on youtube.. I think personally I've seen too many versions of itakiss so I know the basic gist of the story and that's why I watched they kiss again instead and I liked that one although it has it's issues, but zhi shu is one of the best naokis

if you like itakiss you should watch they kiss again. it's actually the 2nd season of the taiwanese version, but I didn't watch the first season (it started with a kiss) before I already know the basic story and was more interested in seeing their married life in season 2. I'd say they kiss again is the best version besides the love in tokyo version. the anime is also good. I'm not such a fan of some of the things in itakiss anymore though tbh.. but like I said they kiss again is a good version
I feel like this drama will have a happy ending, but on netflix it says this drama is bittersweet.. does that mean it won't be a happy ending? or not.. i don't know honestly 😅
you might have found out already but.. basically the ghost was the lover of the male lead's grandfather (or great grandfather..) and she and him had a kid who then is the male lead's father or grandfather I think, but the actual wife took the child in as her own and the lover (ghost lady) died and became a ghost.. now for the curse, you have to be willing to sacrifice yourself for the one you love (in this case the female lead for the male lead and him for her too I think) but honestly in the end the curse didn't even matter 😅
