kudos to the main leads, their acting was always on point. I only watched the parts where the main leads are shown and not talking about business because I know those are just fillers. surprisingly, I liked this more than LBL. I super love LYX pls dont get me wrong, but I just enjoyed this show more. His chemistry with WYW was really good. I really enjoyed their scenes together. they're very funny and cute. I honestly never felt kilig while watching him with LYX, but him with WYW, their chemistry seems very natural.
it's so hard to find a well made C-shorts. 99% garbage. but this one is well made. my 2nd favorite after winter solstice where mains are not just good looking but also act well. also very good story. 👏
I love her in Winter Solstice. She's one of the few who act well in C-shorts where most actors/actresses literally act so bad. Her male partner there also acts well and is handsome.
The story is pretty decent. I really love bad boy–cute girl dynamics. The best part? No love triangle—which I absolutely hate. The leads have undeniably good chemistry, though the FL’s acting is incredibly annoying. I stayed because the ML was really good. I’m now a fan. Honestly, he carried this drama on his own.
The FL is just not good at acting. She only knows how to act cute and use baby talk. Her voice is so annoying—it was hard to watch her scenes. I have nothing against her personally; I’m judging purely based on her performance, especially as a female lead. She still doesn’t have what it takes to be one. In fact, the two female side characters (Nana and WQ) acted better than she did. This is my objective opinion, especially when comparing her to other actresses.
I want to commend the ML. He really made me believe he was JZ. He delivered his lines with depth and consistency. He’s one of the best C-drama actors I’ve ever watched. It’s my first time seeing him, by the way, and his acting was always on point. He’s the reason I stayed and finished this drama—he truly deserves to be watched.
Overall: A pretty decent drama and a good watch. Just don’t expect much from the FL, and prepare to be annoyed by her duck-face acting.
Just finished ep1. I don't feel like continuing it. It's a struggle to even finish ep1. Idk. I don't get the hype over this. Female lead is still the prettiest even when she story says she's ugly. I don't get it. Also the ML lacks charisma for me.
I've loved them since UF so I'm really happy seeing them again. Their chemistry is undeniably good here too, but the plot just isn’t coming together. It feels kind of boring and all over the place—definitely not cohesive. The only thing that excites me is Suzy’s wardrobe.
