In the novel, Jay is a sociopath. He met Sun the day he buried his mother, but he was unable to feel grief, even though he loved her in the way he was capable of. That night, Sun was full of grief. His tears, his pain, his self-hatred. Jay felt it all, and he became fascinated by it. The novel said something like, we love that which we lack. That was the beginning of Jay's obsession.

Before Jay discovered Sun was the bunny, he enjoyed playing with him, he had fun with his reactions. He might even have felt some sexual attraction. But it was the moment he realised Sun was the bunny, when all the bets were off. The drama white washed Jay a lot. He was not a typical red flag, but his brain chemistry wasn't normal, so the way he processed his emotions, the way he felt and manifest love, wasn’t normal either.

Ash is great. It displayed a real relationship. You can feel how physical desire brought them together, how they developed feeling, how their love was toxic but also real. Sure, they are some weak elements when it comes to the mafia/police aspect, but the characters feel like real people with very realistic struggles

Personally, I enjoyed Ash a lot more than this one. Both in term of plot, script and chemistry

The ending was bad, the intimate scenes odd. I'm convinced ML died and the last minute are just MC imagining it

Just rewatch. Foon knew the lighter was there, and you can see him poking it with his gun while talking to Ms. Ho. Plus he angles the gun downwards too.

The script gets worse and worse. And Dad is so stupid. Acting all protective of Phansa when he kept vital knowledge from him all his life, basically turning him into easy prey

She is an indoor servant, if I'm not mistaken, work as Tin's nanny. So it makes sense she's fair skin, probably one the reasons they selected her

Tin's character development happened previously, when they lost the palace and Tin had to work, carry heavy loads, live among the humblest of the people, then became a teacher, and finally opened his eyes to the world beyond the palace. He finally understood why the system that gave him all the privileges was wrong, despise personally benefiting from it.

Tin did not need to grow beyond that. He was already kind and compassionate. The world around him changed, but he remained steadfast and true to himself. His choice to die instead of Phob (and as he said, he would've done the same for his dad and brother) was the perfect culmination of who he was all along.

This is not one of the best BL I have ever watched. It's one of the best historical romances I've ever watched. It will stay with me forever.

There's enough tragedy in real life, especially back in those days. Let them be happy!!!

They butchered the romance. In the novel, after the five years time skip, Little Jane work hard to get back together with BJ, and not once did he question the relationship. Even when, seemingly, BJ was hurting his family, he stuck by him. I don’t understand what the writers were trying to do in the series, but they completely destroyed LJ's character.

Precisely. Why should Phatsa like him? He's bland as a fuck. No personality at all. Doesn't listen. They don't share the same values, same hobbies, same interests. Even the chemistry seems off, when it was sky high in My Stubborn.

It seems they all want to turn Phatsa into Nakhun's mother. And the lady is very kind, but she is the furthest away from happy a wealthy human being can be.

Sadly, I agree. I'll keep watching because I loved the actors in My Stubborn, but the main relationship here lacks any sort of spark. Nakhun is plain, boring and selfish; he ignores his supposed soul mate's unhappiness and depression, even though Phatsa has repeated many times he feels trapped and unhappy. Apart from biology, there's nothing tying them together, and Phatsa deserves so much better.

I actually liked him after the 5 years gap in the nivel, he stuck by Big Jane even when BJ threw his family out of the house. But here in the series, wtf is he doing?

Bible is no longer doing BL?

The scene was not in the novel. But in the novel, after XF moves out, he goes to see LQ from time to time to ask him for a favor. And they have sex. Not a lot of times, because LQ is also abroad a lot. But a few times, XF understands it as a form on repayment. Like, he is in love with LQ, but has 0 hopes that LQ loves him back. It's all transactional.
